Taylor's POV

As I made my way to the back area of the bar, my band members and my mom followed closely behind. My dad disappeared into the crowd, probably finding his favorite spot to enjoy the show.

Just as I was about to go on stage, my phone buzzed with a text from Travis.

Trav - I'm here. Have fun.

Tay - Thank you.

A warm feeling washed over me as I read his message. It was reassuring to know he was there, supporting me.

The café was dimly lit, and a warm atmosphere enveloped the room. The scent of coffee lingered in the air, mixing with the nervous excitement that buzzed within me. I glanced at the small audience gathered in front of the stage, feeling a mixture of anticipation and gratitude.

Taking a deep breath, I stepped up to the microphone, the soft light illuminating my face. My eyes scanned the room, finding Travis among the crowd. A smile automatically formed on my lips as I locked eyes with him.

"Hi, I'm Taylor," I said, my voice steady but tinged with excitement.

Travis's POV

As Taylor stepped onto the stage, her presence seemed to command the room. She greeted the audience with a warm smile that instantly melted away any lingering nerves. With each strum of her guitar and every note she sang, she seemed to glow with confidence.

When the performance ended, she practically floated over to me, her face radiant. I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her close.

"You were incredible, Taylor," I murmured, planting kisses on her forehead and in her hair, feeling a rush of pride and affection for this amazing girl.

Taylor's parents approached us, and I could feel a surge of nervous energy coursing through me. Her dad was a big guy, and I couldn't help but feel a little intimidated. Taylor squeezed my hand reassuringly as they neared us.

"Mom, Dad, this is Travis," Taylor said, her voice steady and warm. "Travis, this is my mom, Andrea, and my dad, Scott."

I extended my hand, trying to keep my nerves in check. "It's great to finally meet you properly," I said, hoping I sounded confident enough. I had met taylor's mom in passing but I had never seen her dad, He worked in finance and did everything he could so his daughter could be sucsessful

"Hi sir," I said, i had never met a girl's farther before and I was unbelievably nervous.

"So you're sleeping with my daughter," As he spoke taylors eyes widened looking at me

"Umm, I guess but I promise it is a lot more than that sir, I cae about..." I got cut off by her farther laughing.

"Your adults," Was all he said.

Taylor had spent the last week warning me of him and yet here he was no scary at all in fact he seemed perfectly nice.

"We were going to go out for food would you like to join us?" Andera asked as taylor rested her head on me.

"Sure," I said, wrapping one of my arms around Taylor's shoulder. "If you give me the address, I'll meet you there. I have my truck with me; I don't really want to leave it here," I laughed as we started to walk out of the small venue.

As we walked, Taylor's parents chatted amicably with us, asking about my family,, and how Taylor I had met. When they brought up next year taylor rested her head on me as we walked she clearly didn't want to let go of me,

As we walked, Taylor's parents chatted amicably with us, asking about my family, my plans for the future, and how Taylor and I had met. I couldn't help but feel relieved. Taylor's warnings about her dad had made me nervous, but he was actually pretty cool.

"I want to get drafted to the University of Cincinnati so I can play with my brother for a few years," I suddenly confessed, taylor looking up at me. She seemed surprised I was talking about it.

"Can I come with you?" Taylor asked as I headed toward my car.

"Of course, baby girl," I said, leading her to my truck and helping her in.

"Have I told you how beautiful you are?" I asked as I took my seat in the driver's seat.

"I wouldn't complain if you told me again," she laughed.

"Well, Miss Taylor Swift, you are the most gorgeous girl I have ever laid my eyes on. And not just that, you're also the smartest and most talented girl I know," I said, leaning over and kissing her.

"I heard you the other day," she blurted out suddenly.

"Heard what?" I asked, fear striking me. What if someone had told her something untrue? But if that had happened, she would have told me. I knew that.

"When you said you loved me," she bit her lip, and I froze. I thought she was asleep. "Did you mean it?" she asked, and I could barely breathe.

"Yeah," I said, my voice barely over a whisper. "I love you," I said, a little louder this time, but still barely audible.

"I love you too," she said, leaning over and kissing me. It felt like waking up from a dream. The girl I loved loved me back. I had never felt so full inside.

"Can we talk about the future at some point, Not right now but soon?" She asked as I started the engine.

"Anytime baby girl," I said placing my free hand on her leg.
