Yup. That's right. I'm tackling two very controversial wof pairings that you either love or hate. (thanks CreenPoisonleaf for the request) The ships are... Glorybringer and Thornder!
Umm... so I actually didn't know there was a big age gap between Thorn and Smoulder and I had to search it up lol.
For those who don't know, Glory is 7 years old (the age you're considered an adult) and Deathbringer is 13 so 6 years difference.🫣 As for Thornder, Thorn is 20 and Smoulder is 39 so 19 years... Anyway... let's get started...

I want to start off by saying that if this were in real life I would NOT support this, but we are talking about fictional dragons! I definitely think that Tui made a mistake in the aging of both these ships and it was any thing but intentional. Also dragons can live up too around 150 years and at age 7 they are considered mature adults (7!!!) It is a bit weird, but both couples seem to truly love each other.
Thorn and Smoulder are definitley less iffy because they are both adults and while Glory and Deathbringers seven year age gap does seem quite big, Glory is technically an adult as well. And lets not forget this is a fictional dragon world!
Then again, I am definitley not educated enough on this topic to make a firm statement on whether I think these relationships are healthy or not but at the end of the day both ships are very cute and personally Glorybringer is one of my top five ships. What do you think?
