Chapter 2

With a defeated look and hunched back Eunho slowly made its way to his seat near his best friend of 6 years. He sat on the seat lifelessly. Putting his head down on the bench and crying at his fate.

"Eun... I am sorry I should have messaged you that Mr. Kang is staying extra minutes in class. I also thought you might have completed your work" Park Yejun said with a low voice. He felt bad to see his best friend getting scolded in front of the class.

Eunho shook his head and sat straight in his chair. "Not your fault, Junnie. My day is just going very very bad" he sulked.

"Why what happened?" Their other best friend sitting at the back asked, leaning his body forward on the bench to listen to Eunho carefully.

Eunho looked back at Choi Yeonseok and Yoon Insoo, his second and third best friend and pouted hard. The others cooing at that.

"You know... you know... what happened!" He started his rant. He sometimes becomes like a cute little kid wanting people's attention.

The others were also shocked after listening to his day. "Wow, that was..." Yeonseok felt really sympathetic after listening to it. Others did too.

"It's really upsetting, I understand. We all have this bad luck day once a while. But yours is... Don't mind me but very awful" Yejun said, patting his best friend's back.

"I agree. But worry not, Eun. We will treat you with your favourite lunch after uni gets over, how's that?" Insoo suggested. He tried to lift up his mood.

Eunho smiled widely and nodded his head. "I agree! It's a good idea. Let's go and have fun"

"Yaa, baby~" Yejun sang, he held Eunho's hands in his and made him dance. Eunho finally giggled a little.

"Thanks, guys. I knew you all would always make me cheerful" he beamed.

"Obviously, Eun. We are best friends for a reason. But tell me about that stranger. Was he hot? Did you ask for his name?" Yeonseok asked while wiggling his eyebrows.

Insoo glared at him and hit his back. "Don't tease him"

"It's ok, Soo. No, I didn't ask for his name but he was kinda rude so, nopes I'm not interested in him. Also, he wasn't that good looking" Eunho knew the last line was an absolute lie but his friends didn't need to know. If someone's eyes could be this breathtaking- his looks have to be perfect.

"That's sad. I thought finally Eunho will lose his virginity" Yejun shook his head disappointed.

Eunho rolled his eyes. "You are saying like being a virgin is a wrong thing"

Yejun raised a hand, waving it dismissively. "No, no. Definitely not! I not saying it is a wrong thing. I am just saying that are you missing the fun of sex! Moaning when he eats you out, the pleasure when he gives you an intense orgasm and the afterglow of making love- you are missing a lot" Yejun said, not even a slight hesitation while saying all this in front of his friends. They all sat there looking at him stupefied.

"We know you have a boyfriend Yejun. But trust me knowing about yours and Jaeyoung hyung's sex life is the last thing we want. So please refrain from this. Makes me puke" Eunho made the most disgusting face a man could ever muster up.

Insoo agrees with him. "I agree! Don't tease us like that. Well, I won't lie... I do want to experience all those too"

Without missing a beat, Yeonseok spoke. "You do? With whom? You have someone in mind?" His voice was dark and edgy. Eyes squinting seeing Insoo's blush on cheeks as if he is imagining himself with someone.

"No, I don't have anyone... Just with my future boyfriend, you know" Insoo confessed, feeling small in front of Yeonseok's gaze.

The other one scoffed at that and looked away, his hand tightly made into a fist. Yejun realised he brought up the wrong topic.

Insoo frowned at the scoff, then rolled his eyes with a bitter face. "Why are you behaving like this? Don't tell me you are getting protective. Seok, I have told you before we are friends but-"

"But I can't control your life. I know and I am not controlling. I just feel protective, you know. After that- that incident happened" Yeonseok whispered-yelled. He feels like Insoo will never understand him. And Insoo feels that Yeonseok will never understand him.

"I understand that you are worried. But that thing was going to happen with me! So, I am very much cautious of things myself. You don't have to become bodyguard of mine. You again and again behaving like this make me feel like a dumb naive person who always get himself into trouble and can't protect himself. I am grown up- I know how to handle things." Well, Insoo rarely gets angry and when he becomes you know he is mad mad.

Both were now in an eye-gazing contest. Eunho was feeling guilty as it felt like his bad luck was spreading to everyone.

Yeonseok always becomes possessive or protective because of the incident that happened before. Insoo went on a blind date and that person tried to take advantage of him. Yeonseok was the one to drop him off, but since he had a suspicion about the man all along so he didn't leave them and stayed afar, making sure nothing went wrong. Then later he saw that the man was trying to kiss him in an intoxicated state forcefully. Yeonseok hit him and handed him to the police.

After that, he becomes so protective whenever Insoo talks about other men. Well, Insoo thinks it's because Yeonseok sees him as a naive kid who always leads himself into trouble and doesn't know about the world. It makes him feel like a dumb, stupid person and he doesn't like that. He doesn't like being seen like this by him. He doesn't want Yeonseok to see him as a weak or dumb person.

But, oh he got it so wrong. Obviously, Yeonseok is protective of his best friend. The four of them are always protective of each other, as they only have each other. The world is not rainbows and unicorns and they all know it, so they try to be as cautious as possible and be in each other's comfort.

But in the case of Insoo, it's not only because he is protective as best friend and it's definitely not because he sees him as naive or dumb. It's far from that. Yeonseok admires Insoo's mind and the way he always slays in mind games. His beauty and everything. He doesn't see Insoo as weak. Instead, it is much more. Intensely more.

Only if he could tell Insoo... only if Insoo knows how wrong he got him.

Yejun and Eunho looked at each other, both gulping at the tense atmosphere. Suddenly, their talks became so serious from all the fun. Triggering both of them is not a good thing as they are just so stubborn.

Why is the professor coming so late to class today? Usually, he comes on time but it has been 10 minutes since the timing of class started but he hasn't come.

Insoo and Yeonseok huffed and pulled their chairs away from each other, creating more space between their chairs than before.

Fortunately, their professor came with a stack of papers in his hands. "Sorry peeps. Got stuck in a meeting with the dean. Well, good news for you all. We are planning something for you all. So be ready" he winked at them. Everybody loves him a lot. He is such a great professor. Teaches so well and his personality is awesome as well.

Many people have a crush on him. Even a slight eye contact with him drives some girls crazy. Obviously having such a young professor who looks so pretty is a dream of a lot of people and everyone wants to have a chance with him. Almost the whole university even the people who are not in their department drool over the professor. He is so much in demand.

A lot of people have eyes on him but his eyes are looking only for one student. He subtly looked around the whole class, not making it obvious he was finding someone. Once his eyes landed on him, he gave a small smile and then started teaching. They are so subtle and non-obvious that sometimes even their friends doubt if they are in a relationship.

Yejun blushed at the eye contact, winking back at him. Oh, everyone can try as much as they want.

But Professor Min Jaeyoung is only Yejun's.
