Chapter 23

Eunho couldn't sleep. He kept staring at the bed above him where his boyfriend was sleeping. (They have a bunk bed in their room so Eunho is sleeping in the lower bunk and Seonho in the upper one). His mind was filled with so many thoughts and emotions that he couldn't bring himself to sleep.

He closed his eyes to try to fall asleep again but, he got out of breath so he sat on his bed and looked outside the window near his bed. He slightly opened the window and the cool breeze ruffled his hair.

I really can't wrap my head around things that are occurring. Eunho thought, his hands holding his knees together and his head resting on them. Why me... why us? If whatever I am seeing is true and related to our past then I fear that unfortunate things are going to happen. And dad... why did I see him? He was the last person I expected to see in these dreams.

Dreams... I have been seeing these weird dreams for as long as I can remember. Before I only used to see a blurred figure and a faceless man. I thought maybe I had wonderful creativity. After meeting Seonho hyung, the faceless man got a face— my lover's face. I thought maybe because I gave him that place in my heart, he became my dream man.

But now, seeing my father and having different images in the same setup... I am worried that those harmless romantic dreams are deeply connected with my past. Now thinking about it makes me feel like everything is a part of a bigger plan of the almighty.

But, I don't understand the twist. Why so suddenly I am told by the universe that my boyfriend and I go way back in history? Why suddenly my world is turning upside down? Why my life is turning towards a fantasy that I don't even want?

I am scared that this forbidden information that we got to know shouldn't have been revealed because now, I think something major is going to happen and I am very much dreading to go through any pain or separation or betrayal.

Oh good lord... why with us? I just wanted to live a happy life with Seonho hyung.

"Damn, it seems like Eunho is becoming depressed than becoming happier on the trip" Donggyu didn't mean to make fun of him but if he wasn't the one to point it out then someone else would have seen the dark circles under his eyes.

"Haha... very funny, hyung" Eunho gave a fake laugh and rolled his eyes. He continued eating his spaghetti.

"... and grumpier" Donggyu added with a pout. Seonho hit his legs under the table and when Donggyu looked up at him offended, the other one showed him his threatening eyes that clearly said to 'not mess with his boyfriend'.

"Not just Eunho but seems like some other people also couldn't sleep well" Yejun looked at yawning Yeonseok and Haewon.  They were slouching but as attention came towards them they sat straight and wiped their eyes.

"Yes, couldn't sleep because someone kept pulling the blanket towards himself" Yeonseok replied giving a deadly stare to Haewon. The elder one just ate his bread innocently as if could never do any wrong.

Insoo chuckled at their banter because he knew exactly what happened last night. The two might not remember as they woke up separated but when Insoo woke up at night he saw them cuddling and it was so cute. He is sure both would choose to die rather than knowing they were hugging each other during sleep.

"Ok, enough of teasing others. Let's get up as others are almost done and we have to head up towards the village" Jiseok, the only sane one for now said and stood up with his plate. The others also had their breakfast so they stood up and went to put their plates away.

Yejun washed his hands and as he turned around he saw some professors also walking towards the hand-wash area and one of them was Jaeyoung.

Yejun's mood was still sour about whatever happened last night. He looked down in anger and was going to walk brush past them when Jihyo said. "Yejun, Good Morning".
