Saturday rolled around quickly, the boys are at soccer with Chris and I'm about to meet Greta Gerwig. Scott told me he's in the movie actually and said that Greta is a national treasure. And I believe him, he has a way with his words.

"Ally Nelson, come in." A producer says with a smile. I stand up and follow him inside. "You must be Ally! Hi! Scott told me you are an amazing singer and recommended you to me. You know him? Scott Evans? Please have a seat."

Greta waved as she spoke and pointed towards the couch opposite of her. "Yeah we're good friends, met through his father. I worked with him." Greta nodded before grabbing a notebook.

"So what do you have so far?" She asked with the sweetest smile. I grabbed my notebook and showed her a bit. She looks excited about it.

"I think I finished writing the song, it's called What Was I Made For. It's about finding your purpose. What was I made for? I thought that in a hard time of my life when my ex just left me pregnant with twins without him knowing. Soon after the boys arrived I knew what I was made for. I was made to be a mom."

Greta reads the lyrics and nods. "This- This is it. Hey! You made a good piano part, we could do something with that. Paul! Come look at this." She called over someone named Paul, he took a long look at my notebook.

"Ally I think you have a lot of talent in writing and when I heard Flowers for the first time I knew you could sing too. What if we start working together? You probably have a lot of amazing songs written and that could make an album."

He looked so serious. I wanted to slap myself across the face to see if I was dreaming, but I wasn't. "Uhh, that would be an honor but I have a very busy life. I have a good job, twin boys. I'm not sure if I have time for all of this. And sorry but I don't know you."

"How rude, I forgot my manners. Paul Epworth, nice to meet you." He extended his hand to shake mine, I shook his hand. "Oh wait you're Adele's producer right? It's an honor sir."

"Yeah you said that already, anyways, let's get started on this beauty. Let's start warming up your voice first and then we'll start singing." We did a small voice warm up and got started on singing.

"Just relax and give the song what she wants. I'm thinking a soft and emotional tone, this has to be a tear jerker. In combination with the piano part you wrote, that wouldn't be a problem." Paul said as he looked at me. I'm in the booth infront of a mic to record it. I relaxed and started singing.

What was I made for - Billie Eilish and FINNEAS

I used to float, now I just fall down.

I used to know, but I'm not sure now.

What I was made for.

What was I made for?

Takin' a drive, I was an ideal.

Looked so alive, turns out I'm not real.

Just somethin' you paid for.

What was I made for?

'Cause I, I.

I don't know how to feel.

But I wanna try.
