So, there I was, still sitting in the cozy Starbucks by the beach, sun spilling in like honey, when my phone buzzed with a message from Mr. Mystery himself.

Mizo texted: Meet me in 5 at the 3rd bathroom stall.

Silly me—I thought he was just being dramatic. But no, five minutes later, there I was, practically tiptoeing to that bathroom like I was sneaking into a forbidden castle. What was I thinking? Why couldn't I just be normal and sip my caramel macchiato?

I emerged twenty minutes later, feeling like I'd just walked out of a romance novel—minus the flowery prose and probably a few of my sanity points.

As I stood there—trying to regain my bearings—Mizo, that enigmatic creature, leaned against the wall, his dark eyes gleaming with mischief. Yeah, he was trouble, but I couldn't help but be drawn in.

"Well, that was unexpected," I said, partially amused and partially questioning every decision I'd made in the last half hour. Seriously, how did I end up here? But then again, why not?

He chuckled, that deep voice sending unexpected shivers down my spine. "I do like to keep you on your toes."

Rolling my eyes, I shot back, "More like keeping me on the edge of insanity." Oh, the irony! A PR girl like me flirting with chaos—it should've been a cautionary tale.

With that characteristic smoothness, he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, sending jolts of electricity coursing through my skin. "Insanity can be fun, my dear."

And just like that, I found myself laughing, the earlier tension melting away into this weirdly perfect moment. There was just something about his touch—both grounding and thrilling. "You're incorrigible, you know that?" I teased as I reached up to fix his shirt, my fingers brushing against his chest.

"Guilty as charged," he replied, that crooked smile widening, his eyes practically smoldering with restrained desire.

But before we could indulge in whatever came next, a knock on the door shattered our little bubble. Reality, once again, poked its head in, making me groan internally.

"Well," I said, pulling my thoughts together and straightening my clothes, "I guess we should rejoin the land of the living." Why did the 'real world' always insist on crashing our parties?

Mizo nodded, still gazing at me like I had just handed him a treasure map. "Just remember, this is only the beginning."

As we stepped out of that bathroom, a mischievous sparkle danced in our eyes. We were both aware that our little interludes were the tip of the iceberg, hiding adventure under a surface of playful banter and unacknowledged secrets.

Ah, love! Or whatever this wild thing with Mizo was. It was intoxicating and frustrating, but I swear, the truth about why it all went sideways... well, that's a whole saga in itself! Stick around—the next chapters promise to be even more explosive.
