Free verse
In ancient times, a messenger of the gods,
Swift-footed Hermes, with winged sandals flew.
With a mischievous grin and a twinkle in his eye,
He was known for his wit and cunning ways too.

A trickster at heart, with a silver tongue,
He guided souls to the afterlife with grace.
Protector of travelers, merchants, and thieves,
He was revered by all in the sacred place.

Mischief followed him wherever he roamed,
Yet his deeds were always carried out with care.
As the god of boundaries and transitions,
He bridged the gap between earth and air.

His staff, the caduceus, a symbol of peace,
Bore two entwined snakes and wings unfurled.
A staff of healing, wisdom, and protection,
For Hermes was the bringer of a new world.

So let us praise the mighty Hermes,
For all the gifts he has bestowed on us.
With his quick wit and charming smile,
He will forever be a god we trust.

In times of trouble, when we feel alone,
We can call upon Hermes to guide our way.
For he is the messenger of the gods above,
And in his hands, we'll always be okay

Number 2 : ballad

In the land of gods and heroes bold,
There stands one figure strong and old,
Hermes, the messenger divine,
Whose wit and charm doth brightly shine.

With winged sandals on his feet,
He soars through skies with lightning fleet,
To deliver messages with speed,
And aid those in their hour of need.

He holds the key to words unspoken,
And guides the lost, the lonely, the broken,
With silver tongue and slyest grin,
He weaves his magic from within.

The god of thieves and travelers too,
He wanders lands both old and new,
A trickster, rogue, and master thief,
Yet in his heart lies honor, belief.

So raise a toast to Hermes fair,
With laurel wreath and golden hair,
For in his grace, we find our way,
Through darkest night and brightest day.

Oh great Hermes, guide us true,
With wisdom old and love anew,
In your hands, we place our fate,
For in your light, we find our gate

Number 3: Haiku made by Apollo

Swift messenger god
Winged sandals carry him fast
Guide to all in need

Number 4: limerick

Hermes, the messenger of the gods,
With winged sandals, he swiftly nods.
He flies through the air,
Without any care,
Delighting us all with his lightning rods.

His charm and wit are truly divine,
As he weaves through the stars to shine.
With his caduceus in hand,
He rules over the land,
Bringing peace and joy in a straight line.

Hermes, the master of trickery and guile,
Can make even the sternest face smile.
He dances and sings,
On his golden wings,
Spreading laughter for mile after mile.

With his quick wit and clever mind,
Hermes is always a friend to find.
He guides us with ease,
Through life's treacherous seas,
Leaving all our worries behind.

So let us raise a toast to Hermes,
The god of travel and cleverness.
May he always be near,
To calm our every fear,
And fill our hearts with endless happiness

Number 5: epic

In ancient days, the mighty Hermes reigned,
God of boundaries, of travel divine;
With winged sandals that never feigned,
He traversed the heavens, his glory to shine.

Son of Zeus, the king of all,
And Maia, a nymph of beauty rare;
He played tricks that made gods fall,
His mischief known throughout the air.

The herald of Olympian race,
He carried messages with great speed;
No obstacle could slow his pace,
In his hands, all knowledge did recede.

Protector of travelers far and wide,
He guided lost souls with a gentle hand;
In his presence, there was no need to hide,
For Hermes' care was vast and grand.

Master of commerce, of trade,
He blessed merchants with wealth untold;
With cunning wit, no deal he made,
His powers of persuasion manifold.

Inventor of the lyre sweet,
He charmed all with his music divine;
His melodies, no mortal could beat,
His skill unmatched through all of time.

Eternal youth adorned his face,
His laughter echoed through the sky;
All things great, in his grace,
The mighty Hermes, forever high.

So let us praise this god of old,
Celebrate his deeds with joyful hearts;
For in his shadow, all stories told,
The epic of Hermes, never departs

Number 6: Ode
O Hermes, messenger of the gods divine,
With grace and swiftness, you eternally shine,
Your wings of gold, your helm of wisdom true,
All things great about you, the world adores you.

In ancient Greece, you were worshipped with awe,
As the god of travelers, merchants, and more,
Your cunning wit, your silver tongue so sly,
All things great about you, shall never die.

From Mount Olympus, you descend with ease,
Through valleys and hills, with the gentle breeze,
Guiding lost souls, with your staff in hand,
All things great about you, forever stand.

You bring messages from the heavens above,
Spreading love and peace, with each gentle dove,
Your presence brings comfort, in times of despair,
All things great about you, beyond compare.

Oh Hermes, we praise you in song and verse,
For all the blessings, you so selflessly disperse,
Your loyalty, your bravery, your endless might,
All things great about you, in our hearts ignite.

So hail to Hermes, forevermore we cry,
In your honor, we raise our voices high,
May your light shine bright, for all eternity,
All things great about you, we shall always see.

Hope you enjoyed! I think I was blessed by Apollo at that moment writing them down.

Bonus: Hermes, is a great dad!
