But the flesh of the titan was slice by the nape of the neck by a nineteen-year old wearing a green cloak with the wings of freedom. When Mai and Amaya opened their eyes they saw a boy that save them. His green eyes and his dusty light brown hair in a shag-like cut cover the hue of his eyes like curtain."So we're saved and alive?" Mai muttered to herself.

When Mike Turned around he saw two young girls huddled together and noticed that one of them was scared. "are you two okay?"Mike asked them in a soft voice. Both Mai and Amaya nodded their heads. As he walked toward them bends down on their level the girls felt so small in front of him.

''My name is Mike Zacharias I'm in the Survey Corp. what your names?'' He said in a gental voice. '' I'm Mai Sota and is my younger sister Amaya.'' Mai said as she walked towards him while she's holding Amaya hands."Since you both lost your parents and no one can't take care of you both, you can come back home with me at the walls if that's okay with you both." The girls nodded a yes.

''Okay let's go then.'' said in soft tone and reaching his hand towards them but Amaya ran to him to embracing him thanking him for saving their life. " T- thank you so much for saving us." She cried. Mike smiled at her and patted her on her head.

As Mike carried Amaya and whiled Mai was his holding hand he called for his horse after his horse came all three of them when back to formation.

As all three of them went back to formation all other survey corp members gave Mike a weird look wondering what the hell did he found two little girls outside the walls. Mike was getting scolded by the commander for running off from his formation just to rescue two little girls with no one look after them. But the commander was okay with it he doesn't want to leave them behind in titan territory.

" Well someone got in trouble by the commander for running off while one a mission." said Erwin a young boy with blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes who's only year younger then Mike.

"Shut Up Erwin I was the Only who's saved them and you didn't even help!" he said while he was walking away and grabbing two crackers bars and one water bottle for the girls to drink.

"Here some food and water for you both"as Mike handed the food to the girls. " thank you." they both said.

As they went back to the walls other soldiers went back to headquarters while Mike went back to his childhood home at the southern village of wall rose.

As they got there Mike tied his horse while holding Amaya she was so tired and exhausted from crying that he had to carry her in his arms. As three of them got home and went up to his room he set her on his bed. He looked back at them sleeping peacefully on his bed he left his room and slept on his living room couch.

The next morning Mai was the first one to wake up. It's weird being in a stranger's home but she realize its was Mike home the one who recused them yesterday. Mai went back to bed when she heard Amaya groan she was awake while she was rubbing her eyes." Where Mike did he left? The younger sister asked. " No no he slept on the couch." Calming her sister down.

"Mom and dad are gone now we're alone are you gonna leave me too Mai." She whispered as a tear rolled down her cheek. " No don't say that I would never leave you I'm always here you, do you remember what I said back home we'll always have each other, So let's join the Scout Regiment together, we'll defeat those titans even one is a lot. We won't let anyone else feel the same way do we now." So they promised as Mai held her pinkey up to Amaya.
