Chp.18 Umi letter

It's been a month since Umi joined the  cadet corp, and she already made new friends with Eren, Mikasa and Armin. Umi was sitting on her bunk, finishing her letters a to her sisters, Mikasa sat next to her as she watched her friend.

"Do you want me to come with you, to drop off your letters to the instructor?" She asked.

"Sure."

"Can I come with you, please." Krista popped up as she was holding on the latter.

Mikasa and Umi nodded their heads. The three girls left the barracks and went straight to instructor barracks.

"Do you girls want me to take you to commandant Shadis?" One of the female instructors said. The girls nodded their heads and the woman took them inside.

As they reached to Shadis office, they went inside.

"I'll send her to give the letters to your family tomorrow morning." He said as took the letter.

The next morning in The Scout Regiment HQ

Hange, Mai, Amaya and the twins were at infirmary, they watched Aoi how she stitched the fake skin the human dummy. She been doing this for three weeks.

"Good job Aoi, you did a good." Hange praised her.

Aoi smiled, she continued stitching the human dummy slowly and carefully. But someone burst into the room.

"Mai, you got a letter from Umi." Moblit said, as he passed the letter to Mai.

This made Aoi flinch, that she pulled the thread hard and broke.

"oh, come on!" She yelled and her eyes were wide, she looked at the broken the thread. She puts her head down on the table and whined.

"Don't worry Aoi, you'll practice tomorrow." Mai comforted her.

"Okay fine. But I want to read Umi letter." She said with a smile on her face as Moblit mentioned her best friend.

The six girls gathered together."what does it say?" Amaya ask.

Mai ignored her younger sister and began opening the letter.

It's been a while since I've left, my training is going well, but I'll be okay. I made amazing new friends, like Eren, Mikasa and Armin. And would love for you to meet them when I come back from training. I miss you two, Aoi and the twin, but I'll visit you during the holidays.

Mai, Amaya and Aoi let out a soft smile as they read the letter.

"Tsk, that brat didn't mention me or Erwin." Levi said as he was looking at the letter, Erwin was also looking at the letter.

"How long have you two been standing there?" Amaya asked, she looked up and saw her lover and Levi.

"Not that long, my love," Erwin said, he leaned forward and gave her a passionate kiss." And see, I told she'll be fine."

"I guess you were right." Amaya smiled and looked up to Erwin.

I know it was short chapter but, don't worry the next chapter will be longer. Just to let you guys know that Aoi and Umi will have love interest ( in the 104 cadet),
