Shanaya~
After a deep talk with her sister, her view about everything changed. She vowed never to be controlled or fall for a man even. Not every man on this earth was bad and she knew it, but her ability to trust them was utterly destroyed when she saw her mother murdered by her father.
Her mother's death anniversary was just a few weeks away and she hadn't been feeling good about any of this situation. The stalker went quiet, and she hasn't received or threatened with any of the notes. She was glad that it finally ended and it must have been a joke.
Remembering Ishika's words, she tried to imagine what would be her reaction if she lost Ansh. She wouldn't want that. Never in a million years. Because besides Ishika, he was the only one who was proud of her and didn't blame her for anything. She groaned slightly and looked up in the sky for a sign.
If an aeroplane appears..that means she loves Ansh.
She waited for 10 seconds but she didn't watch any aeroplane across the sky. She chuckled internally. Acting crazy was on her daily agenda now.
The door of the room opened and her body stiffened. She always felt that when Ansh was around. She stepped off the balcony and saw him clutching his hand and his face twisted with discomfort. Shanaya frowned and went over to check on him only to see his hand burned.
Shanaya gasped as she grabbed his hand with both of hers and looked at him.
"How did this happen?!"
"Boiling water. Spilled all over my hand" he said casually.
"Why on earth would you boil water in the middle of the night?"
"I was making instant tea" he shrugged.
"God Ansh you should be careful"
"You worried about me, wife?" He said. She looked at him angrily and he chuckled.
"Sit on the bed" she ordered as she went into the bathroom to grab the ointment and a bandage. She returned only to see him sitting at the edge of the bed facing the balcony.
She took a look at his palm all reddish and burned. She winced at the look of it.
"Does it hurt badly?" She said as she applied the cream gently all over his palm.
"Not now," he said.
Shanaya scoffed as she wrapped the bandage around his hand and after she was done, she looked at her work proudly while standing in front of him
"Same routine, for a week. Deal?"
"Deal" he pulled her onto his lap so she would straddle him. She wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Are you ok?" Shanaya said.
He caressed her cheek with his thumb but didn't say anything.
"I like this version of you"
"You liked it too when I fought you on everything," Shanaya said.
"So you agree that you hated me"
Shanaya sighed "I didn't hate you...I was just being cautious?"
"I know you have a hard time believing in someone, especially a man. I promise you I'll never break your heart, ill rather cut my open and give it to you. You have to believe in me, baby. Give us a chance"
Shanaya cradled Ansh's face with both of her palms "I am" she whispered.
He looked up "Say that again"
"I believe you"
Ansh kissed her gently and pulled away "You don't know how much I love you"
Shanaya looked up "It's been a long time since someone else has said these words besides my sister"
