An alcove opened, and plates with hot food were raised on the table so he stopped thinking about all that. "I hunted the game this meat came from, while I was down on the planet. We don't eat it often, there are not so many of them and we want to keep a healthy number for reproduction. Eat, I'm sure you will love it, I'll even keep some raw slabs for when Lyra will be better," he told her.

His care for her wolf warmed her heart. She felt happy he shared this kind of food with her and was a bit apologetic about the reaction she had before and the fact that Lyra bit him. "You hear that Lyra, get better soon so you can eat yummy juicy meat."

She just realized that even if his wounds were not bleeding anymore, they were still open. Putting both hands on the wound, "Stay still for a bit," she requested and closed her eyes. Her hands started to heat up radiating a green glow and in a few seconds when she stopped and removed them, the wounds closed becoming just a scar. Alana noticed the scar looked different from all the others he had on his body, but thought it was cuz of her healing.

"By the Paya, Alana, you told me you can heal, but I didn't think it would be this fast. How strong is your power?" he asked, clicking in surprise while a low rumbling was bubbling in his chest.

She chewed the meat in her mouth, "Well, as long as an important organ is not destroyed completely, I can regenerate it, so in theory I could save a life that otherwise would be doomed to die. My mom said I might even be able to regenerate limbs, but as we lived alone I didn't get to try that," she said it like it was nothing and he could not believe his ears. He imagined something way less powerful, like enhancing the natural body regeneration to help heal faster, not this. This was way faster than the medi-pod.

"Alana, will you please try that limb regeneration on one of my warriors, after we are done eating? You don't need to worry if it does not work, just take it as you are trying your limits," he asked her, and she could see that even if he downplayed the fact that she could fail, he was tense and his tone had hope. He must care a lot for his warriors. "Sure, call him," she replied, with a bright smile on her face, then continued to enjoy the delicious meat.

It was white meat, very tender with an exotic spicy taste. The dish came with sweet blue small and elongated fruits that went fantastically well with the meat. He activated the same screen he ordered the food from and told someone to send Te'sui to his chambers. She didn't say a word more as she was busy gobbling the food.

The entrance door opened after a few minutes and Te'sui, a tall yautja female, entered and saluted, then went to sit on the couch. While she finished her meal, Alana studied her left severed hand, it had a jagged end just under the shoulder. She wondered how that happened, maybe a hunt went wrong, she thought. Plate empty, she looked at Tha'dqa, "Tell her why she is here, that it will hurt a lot," and he nodded. Then in their strange language filled with clicks, growls, and gurgles, they talked for a bit and she could see the female opening her eyes wide and her voice getting louder.

Tha'dqa helped her down from his legs, and both went next to the female. She sat down on the couch next to Te'sui and grabbed the cut arm end with both hands while again closing her eyes, "sorry for the pain Te'sui," she added and started to use her power.
