When she woke up, instead of the furs, Tha'dqa's hot and hard body was spooning her with an arm around her waist. She sighed, even if her body felt somehow weird at the realization, she also felt good and comfortable. She felt safe in his arms. "It seems yautja has no problem sleeping together with the other sex," she thought, trying to wiggle her way out of the bed. His arm tensed and kept her in place, as she felt his hot breath on her nape. Then his tongue gave her a long lick on her ear and down the neck then started purring.
"Tha'dqa why did you lick me?" she asked, laughing as the tongue tickled her. "Because you taste good," he said, making her see herself as a tasty yautja lollipop. The thought was funny for a second then a shiver went down her back, "Do yautja eat humans," she asked, holding her breath in wait for the scary answer.
His tusks scratched softly the back of her head as he started laughing. "Some do if nothing else is available, but you don't need to worry Alana. I don't plan to eat you, at least not in that way," he said, leaving her to wonder what he meant by that. She found it a bit disgusting that they ate sentient beings. But he did say it was only in dire circumstances.
"Lyra, you would do the same if you starved, no?" She asked her wolf, then relaxed and let the air out. Her mind went back to what he said about not eating her in that way, "Then how?" the question was bugging her like a nasty bee.
Tha'dqa got up. "Come, we'll go down now. You can eat on the ship while we fly low so you can see the planet better," he said and went out of the room. She got up and dressed fast grabbing her gauntlet also. Alana liked that piece of gear very much. When she got to the living room he was still fastening his armor on and she stood looking at how meticulous he was with it.
Once done, he led her towards the hangar. On the way, they met many yautja passing the halls, and some, after saluting their lord, started laughing and hurried away. "Tha'dqa, why are they laughing at you?" she asked. "They are not laughing at me," he replied while snarling. She furrowed her brows, made some calculations, and said, "Then they are doing it because of me, why?"
"They are just not used to seeing a werewolf walking the halls," he gave her a dismissive reason. She knew that was not the real reason and got angry he lied to her. She didn't feel well being laughed at, without even knowing the reason.
Alana stopped walking with her fists on her hips, "Tha'dqa doesn't treat me like a fucking pup that you could deceive with a bad lie because he doesn't know better," she told him in a loud voice and eyes burning with anger.
He stopped also and seeing her behavior made him content. It seemed her gutsy personality was back. That meant she accepted her situation and started getting used to living among them. He could probably advance in his plan to mate with her now.
"Sorry, you are right. I can't tell you why but know that is not something bad. I will tell you later," he said, seeming quite sincere this time. She was annoyed he was keeping something from her but accepted this answer for now.
Finally getting to the hangar area, they boarded one beautiful ship among the other there. In the control room, he took the only chair available and made a sign for her to come closer. When she was next to the chair, he lifted and placed her across his legs making her yelp in surprise. The hangar door opened and as the ship started to hoover she grabbed one of his shoulders tight, pushing her body to his chest. Sensing her tension, he circled her waist pulling her even closer, and started purring making her relax a bit.
