Sumitra called Ranveer and Siya in her room, deciding on telling them about the marriage proposal. She hoped to make them agree as she wanted Taani to marry into a family like Singhania's. She knew Meenal would take good care of her granddaughter and would never let any harm come to her.

"Yes maa?" Ranveer said as he and Siya sat on the couch placed in front of the bed.

"I want to talk to you both about Taani's marriage." As soon as she finished speaking, Ranveer opened his mouth to object but she raised her hand signalling him to let her finish speaking first. "Tum dono jaante ho apni Taani ke liye hum kabhi bura nahi sochenge. Rishta achcha hai aur hum jaante hain Taani wahan bohot khush rahegi." "Aap kiski baat kar rahi hain maa?" (𝑾𝒉𝒐 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓?) Siya asked wondering who was this person that made her mother-in-law so hurried to marry her darling granddaughter.

"Aadesh Singhania ke bade bete Yuvraj ki" (𝑬𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒉 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒂, 𝒀𝒖𝒗𝒓𝒂𝒋.) Ranveer raised his eyebrows in recognition. Of course that's why they paid them a sudden visit a few days ago.

"Kya wo sab yahan pe isi iraade se aye the maa?" (𝑫𝒊𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓?) Ranveer asked his mother. Although he liked that family, he still didn't like the fact that they came here with such an intention and he knew nothing about it.

"Aadesh aur Divya ko bhi kuch nahi pata tha Ranveer. Ye to mera aur Meenal ka faisla hai ki hum apni dosti ko rishtedari mai badal dein. Aur kya kharabi hai us parivar mai?" (𝑨𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑫𝒊𝒗𝒚𝒂 𝒌𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒊𝒕 𝒆𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓. 𝑰𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒍'𝒔 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕'𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒖𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒇𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔?) Siya felt like she's going to burst into tears any moment now. She was not ready to let go of her daughter yet, in all honesty though she knew she never would be but it still felt like everything was happening a bit too soon.

"Maa in maamlon mai hume jaldbaazi nahi karni chahiye. Aur kya Yuvraj khush hai is rishte se? Kya usne haan keh diya hai?" (𝑴𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝒘𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅𝒏'𝒕 𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒆. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒀𝒖𝒗𝒓𝒂𝒋 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒂𝒍? 𝑯𝒂𝒔 𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒊𝒕 𝒚𝒆𝒕?) Siya asked, appearing a bit too desperate to talk some sense into Sumitra, knowing if she decided to marry Taani there is nothing she would be able to do to stop it unless Taani herself said no. But she knew her darling daughter, if her grandma ever really asked her to marry Yuvraj she wouldn't say no it, doesn't matter if she wants to or not.

Ranveer hugged his wife knowing she was on the verge of a breakdown. Even Sumitra looked at her in pity, she never wished for things to turn out the way they had but they had to marry Taani someday and it will always be too soon for the parents. "Siya, meri bachchi, bharosa rakho humpe hum kabhi bhi jaldbaazi nahi karenge, Taani ki khushi mai hi humari khushi hai. Aur Yuvraj ka abhi koi jawab nahi aya hai, to chinta karne ki koi zarurat nahi hai. Hum bas saari baatein saaf saaf karna chahte the tum dono se."
