They went downstairs and as usual, everyone was there in the dining room. They both touched the elder's feet and took their blessings. "Kitni pyari lag rahi hai meri bachchi, kisi ki nazar na lage." (My daughter is looking so beautiful, may God protect you from evil eyes.) Meenal said, while sweetly kissing her on her forehead.

"Shukriya dadi maa." (Thank you grandma.) Taani replied with a shy smile on her face.

"Aaj pehla din hai tumhara office mai, sabse pehle ye dahi cheeni khao!" (Today's your first day at the office, have this sweet yogurt.) Divya said and fed her a spoonful of yogurt.

"If the boss gives you any trouble Taani, just let me know, I'll deal with him." Aadesh joked making everyone laugh.

Yuvraj playfully rolled his eyes. "As if I could ever mess with her highness."

"Of course you can't! Because she is the boss!" Divya said. "I say, just fire him if he troubles you at all Taani!"

Taani playfully wiggled her eyebrows at Yuvi, who just shook his head with a smile on his face.

Yuvi pulled out a chair for Taani then took a seat beside her. He served her a big portion of everything and then helped himself as well. "Are you trying to make me fat!?" Taani looking at the plate full of food with an incredulous expression.

"I'm trying to keep you healthy, you hardly eat enough and besides, you can always come to the gym with me."

Taani scoffed and replied. "Hard pass."

Yuvi noticed how she was picking peas and beans out of everything and was keeping them aside at a corner of the plate. When she was done he silently gestured for her to pass him her plate and transferred everything to his, before placing it back in front of her.

It made her extremely happy that Yuvi noticed something as trivial as this. She couldn't stop the smile it brought on her face because for her, all these small gestures mattered more than any luxurious gift.

The sweet smile that she gave Yuvi was what he cherished more than anything and he swore to himself to always keep her happy.

The driver dropped them off at the entrance. Just as they got out of the car they were flanked by two bodyguards. They made their way inside, where a well built man, wished them a good morning. "Good morning everyone! Mr. Singhania, are you feeling better now?"

"Much better Mr. Patel, thank you for asking." Yuvi replied with a slight smile on his face.

"Hello Mrs. Singhania, I'm Raman Patel, security personnel of Singhania enterprises, and your personal head of security from today onwards." Mr. Patel slightly bowed his head in respect. He was a retired military officer in his mid thirties but still looked young enough to pass as someone in his late twenties instead.

"What do you mean? My personal security?" She turned to look inquisitively at Yuvi, who shrugged his shoulders rather nonchalantly.

Mr. Patel had been Yuvi's personal bodyguard for the past four years, and there was no one else, he would trust with Taani's life then him.

"But there's no danger, whatever do I need a bodyguard for?" She looked up at him with a pout on her face. She was used to her personal space and the idea of someone following her around all the time seemed rather disturbing to her and someone who looked as uptight as Mr. Patel? Yeah no thanks.

"It's better to be safe than to be sorry Taani. I have a lot of rivals and you're my wife now, I'm not taking any risks with your life." Yuvi didn't voice his actual worries out loud but he was still waiting for the Sharma's to retaliate which he knew they would. He hadn't told Taani about any of it because he didn't want to make her worry unnecessarily.
