After dinner, while Yuvi went back to their room to go through his files, Taani stayed back to help with cleaning and washing dishes but Asha Taai told her not to worry about it. Even when Taani insisted on helping numerous times she ensured that she and the others would take care of it all,

Not having any work to do but also not wanting to go upstairs just yet, she prepared a cup of tea and went outside to roam in the back garden instead. Her mind was once again filled with thoughts she'd rather not mull over.

Should she talk to Yuvi about her wanting to join him at the company? Would he like it? Or maybe she should just join her dad as she had previously decided, but then... would Yuvi like that either? These were the questions that kept flashing in her mind on repeat.

Yuvraj who made himself comfortable on the bed, to sit through the next torturous few hours, reviewing each and every file was beyond shocked to see that every file was already read and marked and very accurately too.

"What the hell...?" He murmured in surprise and quickly went through each and every single one of them. The thought process followed was slightly different than his, but it was so impressive that even he couldn't have thought of some of the things that were pointed out in the negotiations.

He remembered his conversation with Taani on the way back from her home and realised that only she could have done this. "Mrs. Singhania, you keep surprising me at every turn... Just when I think that I'm starting to know you, you reveal yet another mind-blowing quality of yours." He murmured and wondered why has she not come up yet.

He walked outside on the balcony and just as he thought she was out there, walking all alone in the garden with a cup of tea in her hand, lost in her own world.

He went downstairs and stepped out in the garden as well, Taani hadn't yet noticed him though as she had her back towards him. He casually strolled up to her and wrapped an arm around her waist, startling her in the process.

"My god Yuvi! You scared the hell out of me!" She loudly exclaimed while keeping a hand on her heart, willing her heartbeat to slow down.

"It's so loud..." Yuvi said instead, as they both resumed walking together. Taani looked up at him in confusion.

"What is...?" She asked.

Yuvraj looked at her with an intense expression. "Your thoughts." He replied. "You are practically surrounded by them... What has you thinking so hard about?"

Taani cleared her throat and looked away instead of answering his question. They silently walked, without any conversation, yet it didn't feel suffocating or uncomfortable to either of them. There didn't seem to be any need to fill this silence with mindless chatter. Instead they both relished in it.

"I want to..."

"I saw the..."

As if linked by an invisible thread, they both spoke simultaneously and then stopped to look at each other with an embarrassed smile.

"You go first." Taani said with an encouraging smile while sipping her tea.

"I saw the files..." Yuvi began but then stopped speaking to gauge her reaction.

"Um hmm..." Taani nodded her head in acknowledgement, but didn't really give up any of her thoughts about it, nervous of his reaction towards it.

Yuvi clutched his hand tight around her waist, pulling her even closer than she already was. "You did an amazing job with it Tani! I couldn't even have thought of some of the terms you came up with in the negotiations."

She didn't fail to notice how he called her Tani and not Taani like everyone else. Inside, she was bubbling with excitement, cheering herself for this small win but on the outside she remained calm and just nodded her head in politeness and said. "Thank you. It wasn't all that difficult to be honest, although it makes me wonder..."
