You were woken up by Hange shaking your body, seeming rather excited. She was speaking very fast and you, having just woken up, were very confused. After a while you were able to actually take in what the Section Commander was saying.

Hange: (Y/n)! Get up! I have experiments I need to run!

Sighing, you sat up, really wishing you at least slept in a bed. Not noticing your discomfort, Hange continued.

Hange: Hurry up and get ready. I'll meet you in the mess hall!

Right after, she left, leaving your cell door unlocked for you. After getting up and composing yourself like you were told, you left to the Mess Hall. Upon arrival, you were met with stares from many of the Scouts. Looks like Erwin told the regiment. They all looked severely uneasy with you there, some even got up and left. Attempting to not anger them, you skipped food and went straight to Hange's table. Coincidentally this also had Levi Squad, Eren, and Erwin.

Hange: Glad you're up! Are you ready for experiments? It's going to be such a FUN day!

Levi: Hold it, four-eyes. He hasn't even eaten. You'd kill him in the first hour. (Y/n), go get some food.

(Y/n): I'd rather not. The Scouts don't seem keen on me being here, nonetheless eating their food.

Eren: They'll live. If they can grow accustomed to me being here and eating their food, you'll be fine.

(Y/n): It's not even that. No one knows what I am: not even me. We assume titan, but what if it's far worse? What if I'm an actual devil?

Petra: Despite what we did to you, we were reluctant. We care for you, (Y/n). No matter what you are; you've shown true dedication and loyalty. The other Scouts will see that. So c'mon, I'll come with you to get food and beat the crap out of anyone who tries to stop you.

Smiling you got up with her. The Levi Squad all decided this was a group effort too and stood up with you both. Now definitely drawing attention, you grabbed your food as the Levi Squad stood guard around you, like bodyguards. Back at the table, Levi smiled. He'd be able to keep you around him without an issue from his squad.

Hange: Levi?! Did you just...smile?! Oh my. Is the world ending???

Levi: Shut it, brat.

Arriving back at the table with a now full tray of food, you sat down and began to eat.

Hange: So, (Y/n), do you know what your Titan Ability is?

(Y/n): Titan Ability?

Hange: Yeah! It seems all titan shifters have special abilities specifically designed for their titans. Do you know what yours is?

(Y/n): No, definitely not. I only learned that I was a titan when you guys attacked me.

At the reminder of the event, the Levi Squad looked a little shameful.

Oruo: You know, we really didn't want to do that, right?

Gunther: We were following orders, but we were reluctant the entire time.

Eld: We held, no, hold you in a high esteem, (Y/n). We seriously were only doing what we were told. Can you forgive us?

(Y/n): Of course. You're soldiers, you followed orders. I now understand the need for what you all did.
