Edna left the fancy bar and walked towards the stage.
She slipped past many people she recognized.
Red Guy...Carlos...The Spot...The Winter King...
Their suits were rather 'Janky' for Edna's taste, (except the Winter King, he knew style because Edna tutored him when they went to University in Mandela County with him.
(They were studying Iconic Hair 101.)
She was just about to reach the stage when a very tall woman stepped in front of her.
"Edna, Darling? Is that you?!"
It was Lady Dimitrescu.
Edna looked up at her, sweating a little.
"Oh! Alcina... it's been so long..."
When Edna said that a thin, purple man gripped her shoulder.
"Sense when..." He said ominously.
Edna raised an eyebrow.
"IT'S BEEN SO LONG...SENSE WHEN???" He asked again.
Edna stood there silently and confused.
"Sense last I've seen my ex-girlfriend....ah, who are you?"
He nodded slowly and walked away.
"Never mind him, darling...he's a bit strange." Said Lady Dimitrescu.
"Uh, how have you been? You know sense..."
Lady shook her head.
"I've been doing well, the break up didn't affect me as much as the Press said it did. They're always in my business... 'Where's Rose' this and 'Oh, do you know Markiplier?' that..."
Edna looked at her sympathetically and chuckled to herself.
"As of recently...I can relate, darling."
She said her goodbyes and continued her walk to the stage.
Edna looked around to see if anyone saw her.
Nobody did.
They were too full of themselves to notice anyone.
She peeked behind the curtain and walked backstage.
The carpets were a crimson red.
Mirrors with lights framing them hung from the walls.
Beautiful women sat at the vanity, getting ready for tonight's performance.
Their fringed dresses shimmered in the light in colors of silver, gold, and black.
