We were making the finishing touches and Sage's party decor were going to be done. Since I couldn't fully convince her on a theme, all of the colors we used were pastel, just like when she was a kid. That was one thing I knew she would always like, pastel colors, she hates bright and neons.

"The food is going to be arriving an hour before the party starts, they're going to keep it in the warmer until it's ready to be served," Joe said, making sure the number sixteen balloons were facing the right way.

I nodded my head, taking a step back as I overlooked the whole living room. The desserts were already placed on the side table, along with some goodie bags for her friends and the other guests to take home, including make up products and other things that brands have sent me.

"Ivy! Please go get changed baby," I said, shooing her off of the couch where she was lounging on.

I climbed up the stairs, heading towards Sage's room. I knew she was nervous about today, she hadn't had a proper party with this much guests since she was really young. All of my friends were going to be visiting from all other states and also Joe's family from London were going to all be here.

"Babe, you getting ready?" I asked as I knocked on her door. I opened the door, where she sat at her vanity, combing her hair.

"Look at my beautiful sixteen year old," I said, looking at her through the mirror. She took a deep breath, before putting her hair in a high ponytail and I continued to admire her long silky blonde hair. Oh how I wish she had my curly hair, but only Ivy got those traits of mine.

She picked out a simple white flowy dress with some white high top converse. I watched as she sprayed perfume onto herself, laughing at the amount she used. Ivy ran into the room in a light pink romper and engulfed her older sister in a hug, making Sage chuckle.

I admired the two as Ivy sat on Sage's lap, getting a light amount of blush applied by her big sister. I could feel my heart tighten, thinking about how there could've been another one of them.

"Okay, let's go downstairs," I said, standing up from her bed and Ivy ran out of the room.

I put my arm around Sage, holding her tight as we made our way down the stairs where Joe smiled at us. Ivy went back to her position on the couch, focused on the T.V. and Sage walked around the room, looking at all of the decorations and treats laid out. I saw a small smile begin to form on her face as she looked at the balloons hanging from the ceiling and that was all I wanted to see today.

When guests started to arrive, our families were first. Patrick pulled Sage into a big hug, trying to pick her up, but failed to do so; she wasn't six anymore. Ivy ran into Austin's arms as he threw her up in the air, making my heart stop for a moment. Soon after, her friends arrived, Lily and James along with their families. All of the littles kids followed Ivy, running to the playroom making all of us chuckle. I watched as Sage stood in a corner talking to Lily and James.

"Do you girls want anything to eat? The food should be ready to serve soon!" I asked, smiling at them. Sage looked to her friends who nodded and I led them all to the table with snacks.

"Come here, baby," I whispered, pulling Sage to a corner while the other two were focused on snacks.

"You doing okay?" I asked, rubbing her back. She nodded her head, giving me a big smile and by my surprised, gave me a hug. I rubbed her back, giving her a kiss on the forehead as we both stared at the guests.

"I'm okay, thank you for doing this for me," she smiled up at me. I shook my head, giving her another kiss on the head. I'd do this over and over for her, even more.

Soon enough, all of the guests arrived, packing up our living room and also our rooftop. Sage was sitting on the couch with her friends while they watched the younger kids play Just Dance, laughing their asses off. When I looked at the time, it was getting late which meant the younger kids were getting tired. James and her siblings were going to be sleeping over because Ivy's party is tomorrow and her sisters would be sleeping in Ivy's room while James and Lily were going to sleep in Sage's.

"Okay, you girls go get ready for bed," Blake said, ushering the kids towards the bathroom.

"Why doesn't James need to go to sleep?" Betty said, looking up at her mother.

I giggled, also looking at Blake who glared back at me for laughing.

"Because, she's a big kid now and she's going to go to bed when Sage and Lily go to bed," Blaked explained, receiving a sigh from the other kids.

When I walked back into the living room, the kids were nibbling on the last bits of cake while playing Fall Guy and laughing so loud that it sounded like they were choking each time.

"Okay girls, one more hour and you guys can head up to the room," I said, smiling at Sage.

They all nodded their heads as they continued playing their game and I walked over to Joe who was in the kitchen with our families. Joe wrapped his arms around me as we all watched the girls from the island.

"This is the first time in a long time that I've seen her this happy," Joe whispered into my ear. I nodded my head, glad that she was showing us a real smile after a long time.

I was worried that the miscarriage would take a toll on her, but after lots of reassuring and cuddles with my oldest, here we are. Joe and I talked about it if we wanted more kids, wanting to try to a boy, but looking at our kids now, we didn't need to have another one at the moment. I was worried that the age gaps would be difficult for all of them to get along, but what ever happens, happens.

"We're going up now," Sage announced walking into the kitchen. I nodded my head as Joe and I pulled her into our embrace.

"Don't stay up too late girls," Joe said, making all of them nod their heads.

I chuckled as I watched them run up the stairs and now it was time for Mom and Dad to get to work on picking up the mess. Usually, I would have the kids help, but I wasn't going to ruin their fun. Both of our parents tackled the kitchen, throwing away the left over food and cleaning the rest of the dishes while Joe and I cleaned the mess in the living room and took down the decorations, beginning to prepare for Ivy's party.

Ivy's party was the total opposite of Sage's, while Sage's was just colors, Ivy's was Sonny Angel's themed. At first, I was very confused on what that was, but she explained to me that it was those little doll figures that she has been collecting for a while now. Ivy basically has a full shelf in her bedroom just filled with them. Sage always has some of them, but she informed me that she doesn't collect them, unlike her younger sister who is obsessed. Ivy even asked me to order a whole set of boxes of them since they were hard to find and can I just say, they are not cheap!

"Taylor! Taylor! Joe!" Lily yelled, running towards me. I dropped everything I was holding as I faced her as she looked pale as a ghost.

"Sage just fainted! She won't wake up!" she yelled, pointing up the stairs and my heart dropped.
