"Ivy, stop!" I yelled as she trashed around in my bed.

Ivy has been in my room for the past hour, bored out of her mind. She was constantly asking what we could do, but every time I'd suggest something, she wouldn't like the idea. I could tell that she was building up a tantrum and I was about to kick her off my bed if she pulled my sheets one more time.

"I don't know what to do! You're not helping me!" she whined as she rolled back and forth.

"Go to sleep, go bother Mom and Dad!" I exclaimed, putting my foot in position to kick her off.

"I'm not tired and they're both busy!" she whined out once again.

I gave her a slight kick, making her glare at me. "See! You're annoying me!" she yelled.

"No, you're the one in my room, annoying me!" I yelled. She stood up from my bed and groaned as she stomped her feet.

"Ugh, you're so weird sometimes, get out please!" I pointed towards the door.

She gasped, "You're mean! You're gonna grow up ugly!" she yelled. I rolled my eyes, throwing a pillow at her.

We soon heard footsteps walking towards my bedroom and soon enough, Mom appeared at my doorway.

"What's happening in here?" she asked with her arms crossed.

"Sage is being mean!" Ivy yelled, pointing at me.

"No, you're being annoying and won't leave me alone," I said frustrated.

Ivy continued to fit to Mom about how bored she was. Both of our parents were busy and none of us had no plans on leaving the house. Ivy decided that she wasn't in the mood to play on her iPad, or watch T.V. which apparently made me her last decision to go to.

"Ivy, I'm sure there is something you can do. I've heard you two yelling for the past couple minutes and we don't need to yell while we're inside," Mom said, giving us a stern look.

"Tell your kid to stop annoying me," I said, pointing to the younger blonde who was currently acting like she was five.

"Hey! Mom! See!" Ivy yelled, pointing back at me.

Mom rolled her eyes as she started to lead Ivy out of my room. I could hear Ivy yapping her mouth off as their voices faded as they headed downstairs, leaving me in the peace and silence.

I looked through my phone as Lily was sending funny pictures from their little family roadtrip over the weekend. Mom has a lot of things coming up, so all of us have been staying in the house and keeping a low profile. I know that Mom's new music coming out means a lot to her, so she has been stressed with making sure everything is perfect. Other than that, I've been far more ahead in my school work than everyone else, leaving my free time more open than usual.

"Lunch!" Mom yelled from downstairs.

I groaned, removing my covers and shivered as I felt the cold air touch my skin. I don't think I've moved all morning once I got back into my bed after breakfast.

When I reached the kitchen, I spotted Ivy who was slouched in her chair, sticking her tongue out at me.

"Ew, why do you look like that," I said, taking a seat.

"Mom! Sage just called me ugly!" Ivy yelled, making me chuckle, because I didn't specifically say that.

Dad sighed, setting down our plates. "Girls, be nice to each other. Ivy, stop yelling every second, and Sage, don't say that to your sister," he sighed.

I grinned as I started to poke at my food, feeling Ivy's eyes on me.

"Ivy Reneé, eat," Mom stated.

Ivy groaned and stuffed her mouth full with food as she  continued to stare me down. I was this close to punching her.

"Mom, tell your iPad kid to stop staring at me," I said, receiving a gasp from Ivy.

"I'm not an iPad kid!" she yelled, pounding her fists against the table.

"Hey!" Dad yelled, making Ivy stop instantly.

"Sage, stop it. Ivy, I need you to stop yelling or we're going to have a talk, privately," Mom said, looking at Ivy.

Once I was finished with my food, Ivy finally got situated back on the couch, watching T.V. upside down and I was about to head back upstairs, until Mom called me into the kitchen.

"Hey, what's up with you today?" she asked, furrowing her eyebrows at me.

"What do you mean?" I asked, genuinely confused.

"Why are you arguing with your sister more recently. This isn't like you and this isn't like her," she said.

I sighed, crossing my arms that I was even having this conversation.

"Mom, she's literally been annoying and bothering me every second she can. You and Dad are both busy, so she's been stuck with me. Get her out of the house, give her to Grandma," I suggested, hoping Grandma would take Ivy forever.

Mom chuckled, "Babe, you know why we're all busy at the moment. You two can't keep arguing like this, you guys have been like this ever since your birthdays. When Dad and I need to leave soon, you and her will be together, so promise me you two will corporate," she begged.

I looked at her confused. "What do you mean? I don't want to be stuck with her when you guys are gone. Give her to Grandma when you guys leave," I said.

"Hun, you both are going to my parents when we leave, you won't be alone," she sighed.

"Ugh!" I exclaimed.

"Are you guys talking about me?!" Ivy yelled from the living room.

I stared at Mom, "See?!" I exclaimed. Ivy is literally crazy.

"No we're not, honey!" Mom yelled back.

Mom rolled her eyes, pulling me into a hug as she kissed my forehead. "You know how much I love you," she chuckled.

"Not a lot, you just told me you're leaving me with your iPad kid," I sighed.

Mom playfully hit my arm as I headed back up to my room. As I made my way through the hallway, I saw Dad packing his suitcase, making me stop in my tracks. Mom and Dad were going to be going to California for some business and Ivy and I would be staying in Nashville, meaning that Ivy would be transferred online for that period that we're there for.

"Hey you," Dad smiled, looking over his shoulder.

"Getting along with your sister?" he chuckled.

"Not if she keeps acting like this," I sighed.

He laughed as he folding some of his shirts into his suitcase. "You two will be fine. At least you'll be with your grandparents and Austin," he stated.

I was excited to see Austin, I know that he came to our birthday, but seeing him in Nashville and knowing that we all can do stuff together in public would be fun.

"How long will you guys be gone for?" I asked.

"About two weeks, nothing longer, I promise," he smiled.

Mom and Dad haven't been away from us ever since Mom went back on tour after having Ivy and that was years ago. Usually when they have work trips, we would come along, but this time they wanted us to focus on school, especially, Ivy.

"You're going to be okay babe, if anything happens, we'll be back in an instant," he said, rubbing my shoulder as he zipped up his suitcase.

It felt weird being a high schooler and feeling nervous that my parents were going to be away for a while. I didn't wanna act like a baby about it, but I am both a mommy and daddy's girl, so I like to be around them all the time.

"You can also call us anytime you want, we'll pick up," he smiled.
