Next morning came as a nightmare for all as anirudh didn't find nikky in the bed with him when he woke up. He checked in the washroom first and then hasted outside to look for him. He checked all the rooms on his floor but nikky was nowhere to be found. He went downstairs and checked in the kitchen, garden and entertainment room where all others were sleeping but nikky was not their. Anirudh went near arjun and shook him.
Anirudh "arjun, arjun utth, nikky nahi mil raha." He said shaking arjun rigorously
Arjun woke up at once "nahi mil raha matlab? Aapke kamre me nahi hai wo?"
Anirudh "nahi, mere kya kisi bhi kamre me nahi hai, maine kitchen, garden, living room har jagah dekh liya par wo nahi mila. Pata nahi subah subah.....
He wasn't able to complete his sentence as Arjun rushed outside to look for his son. By then even jeet was up and started waking everyone there. Within minutes all were looking for nikky in the entire house.
Arjun firstly went to the security head "gujral ji, nikky nahi mil raha, jaldi saare cameras check kijiye aur apne staff se pata kijiye usse kisi ne dekh kya."
Gujral "ji sir." He said and within a minute he and arjun started checking the live camera feed and while the staff was started searching for nikky.
Hardly a minute passed and a screen showed them nikky lying on the terrace floor not moving. A dark fear gripped arjun's heart. Arjun ran towards the terrace to get to his son. As arjun was running upstairs gujral informed the others about nikky's whereabouts.
Arjun reached the terrace and found his son rolling on the floor with the puppy. A quick relief washed over arjun but soon the relief turned in to an angry concern. He moved forward and stood near nikky.

As soon as nikky saw him there his face lit up with joy. Nikky stood up as he squealed "deda. See shadow. Shadow run." He ordered the puppy
The puppy also ran a little far from nikky and then came back to him and licked his hand. "Shadow bark." Nikky ordered again
This time the puppy woofed happily and wagged his tail. Nikky was patting shadow when arjun croched, turned nikky towards himself and looked at him angrily.
Nikky "deda ang............
Arjun "how did you come here?" He asked sternly still holding nikky by his shoulders
Nikky "door open, shadow come up, nikky come too." He replied nervously
Arjun "why?"
Nikky "nikky like here. Terrace nice."
Arjun's anger grew more, he did tell all others to not bring nikky here "why didn't you inform anyone before coming here?"
Arjun's stern tone brought tears to nikky's eyes "all sleeping." He replied meekly
Arjun "sab so rahe the to tu akela yahan aa gaya? You have any idea how worried everyone got." He scolded nikky
