A MOMENT OF FEAR AND REASSURANCE
In the hustle and bustle of the palace, amidst the preparations for the royal wedding, Vamika found herself standing in her room, surrounded by a myriad of dazzling lehengas. Each one seemed more exquisite than the last, leaving her torn between choices. Unsure of which outfit to wear for the grand occasion, she decided to seek Ekanksh's advice, trusting his judgment above all.
Gathering the four lehengas in her arms, Vamika made her way towards Ekanksh's chamber, her heart fluttering with anticipation. However, as she entered the chamber, her eyes widened in shock at the sight before her. Rows of bodyguards, armed with formidable weapons, lined the room, their presence sending a shiver down her spine.
Attempting to push aside her growing unease, Vamika continued towards Ekanksh's door, her steps faltering with each passing moment. And then, to her dismay, she found the door ajar, revealing a scene that would forever haunt her.
Ekanksh stood before her, his expression twisted in anger as he barked orders into his phone, his voice laced with a chilling determination. Shocked and frightened by the intensity of his anger, Vamika's grip on the lehengas loosened, the delicate fabrics slipping from her trembling hands.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she watched Ekanksh, clad in his mafia mission attire, surrounded by weapons and a palpable aura of danger. The sight of him, consumed by rage and violence, was a stark contrast to the loving and caring Ekanksh she knew and loved.
As Ekanksh's personal assistant caught sight of her, he discreetly signaled his boss, prompting Ekanksh to turn and face her. The moment his eyes met hers, the anger melted away, replaced by shock and concern as he realized the effect his actions had on her.
Before Ekanksh could offer any explanation, Vamika's fear overwhelmed her, sending her spiraling into unconsciousness. The sight of her collapsing before him struck Ekanksh to his core, his heart wrenching at the thought of causing her such distress.
In a frantic rush, Ekanksh gathered Vamika into his arms, his hands trembling with worry as he carried her to his bed. Gently laying her down, he brushed a stray lock of hair from her face, his gaze filled with remorse and regret.
As Vamika lay unconscious before him, Ekanksh vowed to never let his anger or his past actions harm her again. With a heavy heart, he resolved to shield her from the darkness that threatened to consume him, to protect her at all costs.
As the hours passed, Vamika slowly regained consciousness, her eyes fluttering open to find herself lying on Ekanksh's bed. The memories of what she had witnessed flooded back, sending a shiver down her spine. She turned to see Ekanksh sitting beside her, his gaze filled with concern.
"Ekanksh," she whispered, her voice barely above a breath. "What... what happened?"
Ekanksh's expression softened as he reached out to gently cup her face in his hands. "I'm sorry, Vamika," he said, his voice tinged with remorse. "I never meant for you to see that side of me."
Vamika struggled to find the words to express her fear and confusion. "I... I saw... the guns, and... and you..."
Ekanksh's heart ached at the fear in her eyes. "I know, Vamika," he murmured, pulling her into a comforting embrace. "But please believe me when I say that you're safe with me. I would never let anything harm you."
Tears welled up in Vamika's eyes as she buried her face in his chest, seeking solace in his embrace. "I was so scared," she admitted, her voice trembling. "I've never seen you like that before."
Ekanksh's arms tightened around her, his own emotions threatening to overwhelm him. "I promise, Vamika," he vowed, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. "I'll do everything in my power to protect you, no matter what."
