Chaos Uncontrolled Continued

"Any twos?" Tails peeked up over his cards.

"Nah, go fish." Super replied after quickly scanning his own cards.

With a slightly exaggerated sigh the fox went to draw a card from the deck in the middle of the table. "How have you not managed to have any card I've asked for so far? That's statistically practically impossible." Tails grumbled as his ears flopped down.

Super simply grinned and shrugged, making a show of looking at his own cards to decide what to ask for. "You know, you really should just tell him you're cheating before he gives himself a headache trying to figure out the actual chance that this is legit." Sonic sighed, though there was a slightly amused tint to his voice. "Cause... he'll do it. He's done it in the past when I got a streak of really good luck in Yahtzee."

"I'll tell him. After I win." Super thought back. "Mind handing over your kings?" He asked out loud, tilting his head innocently.

Tails shot him a glare before reluctantly handing two cards over. With a smug grin Super placed them along with the two he was holding down. "How did you-?" Tails cut himself off and just shook his head.

"Hmm..." Super hummed. "Any..." He looked Tails straight in the eyes. "... aces?"

Tails threw his hands up in frustration as he put down his remaining cards. "How are you doing that?" He shot Super an accusatory look.

Super simply grinned innocently at him. "Doing what? We're just playing a card game. Must just be beginner's luck." Tails only glared at him. "Fine fine." Super sighed dramatically. "I maaaay have been cheating. Just a little." He waved it off. "Figured you would have noticed sooner."

"But... how? I didn't see you doing anything." Tails frowned as he started to gather up the cards.

"Two words for you fox." Super held up two fingers. "Chaos control."

Tails stared at him for an uncomfortable amount of time. Super squirmed slightly under the unblinking stare and he could even feel a slight bit of discomfort from Sonic. "We're adding a new rule to game night." He finally said in a deadpan voice. The fox got up and walked over to a white board that had the label "Game Night Rules'' on top. Uncapping a marker he added "No chaos control" right beneath "No using super speed to rearrange game pieces (yes we will notice)". Recapping the pen and nodding at the board he turned back around. "Let's take a break for now while I make some dinner." Tails drug a hand down his face. "And no erasing or editing the rules while I'm cooking. I'll know!" He narrowed his eyes at Super.

Holding up his hands in surrender Super couldn't help but chuckle. "I won't touch the board." Tails' eyes narrowed further. "...and neither will Sonic." Super looked away. With a satisfied nod Tails vanished down a hallway.

"You know..." Sonic started. "I sometimes forget how scary my little bro can get."

"Makes it hard to tell who's the older one sometimes." Super commented glancing down the hallway Tails had gone down.

"Yeah that's... fair." Sonic admitted. "We take care of each other, so at this point the line is pretty... blurred I suppose."

"I see." Super tilted his head.

"You're part of that now too you know. We'll both be looking after you and hopefully you'll return the favor." Super could feel the smirk in Sonic's voice, but he could also feel the sincerity in it.

"I mean, I guess I'm kinda obligated to look after you at least. Without you there's no me you know? Can't have that." Super grinned.

"Nice to know you care about me so much." Sonic grumbled before laughing.
