The smaller of the two steel men turned to the larger and spoke with a deep, smooth voice. It was the voice heard only a second ago, “So, when your face is gone, the dance will carry on.”
The larger one's legs suddenly compressed themselves like pushed down springs, launching forward and bashing into Freydís like a pissed off mountain goat, sending the two into the inner theater.
Beo cracked her knuckles, staring down the smaller one, still in front of the now torn up screen.
“So, what's your deal? You're all unique for each couple, right?” Beo questioned.
“And fall a thousand times before.” The automaton replied.
     “You talk funny.” Beo said.
Suddenly, the mechanical man's arms collapsed to the ground. Then, they began to shake and fold about as the steel man produced a new pair of arms, identical to the grounded ones.
In a moment, the arms had folded into the same form as their original owner. Now there stood 3 of the same being.
Beo smiled, “Well this just got interesting.”
From the tops of their wrists, the iron individuals ejected rods of lights, flashing the air around them before swiftly charging. They all cried, “Polka never dies!”
Inside the building, Frey stood, her head beginning to bleed from the impact.
The larger of the two robotic rapscallions stood as well.
They found themselves inside a screening room, and not a very large one at that. Frey had to squat slightly just to not hit her head on the ceiling.
The alarming android didn't care, allowing its head to push through the ceiling.
“Back off, you miscreant!” Frey yelled as she struck the torso of the robot.
It collapsed once again, falling through the wall and leading them to the far more spacious front area. The open room had screens in the corners of the room, playing trailers and clips from the films, with an occasional fun fact. One section has a small set of arcade machines that some children were playing at.
The crack voiced teenager from before stopped lip wrestling with a girl with braces behind the concessions stand and yelled, “Hey, you're gonna pay for that!”
The machine man's arms elongated like a pulled accordion and plunged it's fingers into the ground around the center of the room. Not a moment later and it pulled itself over and back up.
Frey charged at it once again to strike, but this time it blocked with its gauntlet-like hands.
It threw itself forward and headbutt Frey, who fell to the ground and held her head.
It was about this time that Beo found herself trying to put holes into about a dozen of these machine men.
She tore the head off of one and kicked it while yelling “TOUCHDOWN!”
This sent the head flying through one of the robots, and embedded itself into the stomach of another.
However, as the bodies of those 3 fell, the arms of them became 6 new threats.
They surrounded Beo, one of which slashed at her from the back. She ducked just barely in time.
She turned to the one that struck her, but noticed a tinge of smoke. On the ground was a large chunk of her hair, leaving her with only a bit. “Hey! I'm already half bald! I don't need the other half to be a pixie cut!” Beo yelled as she grabbed the would-be barber-bot by the head and swung it around, knocking down 5 others with it. In their place, 12 more appeared in their place.
Beo sighed, “This is gonna be far less fun than I thought it would be.”
At that moment, Frey took one of the nearby arcade cabinets from the corner of the lobby and leaped into the air, bringing the arcade down on the robot’s head like a steel chair in a wrestling match.
The mech staggered for a moment, but got its balance again and threw its extended arm towards Frey.
Frey was too slow and felt a couple of her teeth get knocked out.
The robot tried to pull back its arm, but Frey caught it by the wrist.
With blood on her face, teeth on the ground, and half conscious, Frey said, “You're not ruining my date anymore, you silver skinned son of a bitch!”
She threw her weight to the side and whipped the juggernaut around, spinning it around and around, building up speed before launching it upwards.
The platinum palooka crashed through the ceiling and landed on the above floor.
Frey pursued, leaping up to the hole she had just created and barely pulling herself up.
The room had rugs and mats that resembled asphalt roads and sidewalks. There were also styrofoam structures surrounding her, painted similarly to buildings you would find in larger cities. The walls were painted blue like the sky with patches of cotton crudely glued to it.
Moving slowly, Frey began to stalk around the corners of the structures before every turn.
Just as she turned one corner, so too did the metal man, now each standing on one end of the false street. They stared each other down, waiting for the other to move.
The robots arms launched forward as they had before.
Frey leaned back and only narrowly avoided the attack and grabbed them as they pulled back. This quickly dragged her through the air. She held out her legs and both feet kicked slammed into the head of the tin can cretan.
Frey grabbed the shoulders of the robot and used her feet to launch herself off of its chest, tearing the arms off at the hinge.
     Frey smiled, “Give up now?”
From each busted shoulder, the robot extended out more metal. It created a new pair of arms, thick and larger, like a couple of gas tanks trains carried had been welded together.
“UggghhAHHHHHHH!” Frey screeched, “What is your DEAL‽”
The robot quickly changed its legs to match its arms and charged at Freydís, but the floor beneath them collapsed under the weight and both of them fell back to the floor below.
Frey fell onto the torso of the tank titan and felt as the air was knocked out of her, beginning to gasp for air as she struggled to stay conscious.
Frey thought to herself, “Damnit, I'm NOT a fighter! I swear when this is all over, when I get my hands on Beo, I'm gonna-!” Frey stopped herself and looked at the automaton, examining the arms and bulbous gauntlet hands.
Frey got an idea and thought to herself, “She is so lucky I love her.”
