Authors note: I'll be so honest here I was looking throughout the book to see if I mentioned the parents name at least one I couldn't find it in here or in my story notes. . . . I found myself in the library and was in front of the library butterfly searcher. I hesitate as I remember all the times I talk about my home planet domino, no one seemed to remember it. Would the same thing happen here, would the butterfly not be able to summon a book for me.
I contemplate the idea and Blaze who was in my arms licked my face. He snapped me out of my thoughts and I smiled.
I finally sighed and held my other hand above the butterfly.
"Domino.."
Two books came to me, I looked inside the first book and saw how it pages were completely empty. I looked at the other book, I flipped through the pages and it was blank too.
I groaned in frustration and was about to close the book but saw a piece of writing, I quickly flip though the second book again and saw a few words, not many but it was better than nothing.
"Nymph of Magix's.." I muttered but immediately a swarm of books came out of the shelf's and towards me and Blaze.
Blaze meowed aggressively at the books as he was still in my arms. I immediately took cover under the butterfly and Blaze was still in my arms meowing aggressively as the books flew towards us at a rapid speed.
"What's going on?!" I yelled in panic as Blaze's eyes glowed red. "no, no, heat vision! Help!" I quickly said and blaze meowed but his eyes turned back to its natural color.
The Liberian ran towards us and I heard her yelling about some gate before I heard footsteps running away yelling for Mrs. Faragonda.
"Wait! Help us!" I yelled out but it was probably too late by now. Blaze meowed and his eyes turned red again. "Blaze!" He immediately stopped and I screamed in fear as the books surrounded us more and more and turned into a book tornado.
The books suddenly stopped and I looked relief and realized that Mrs. Faragonda was now standing in front of us.
"I say the library's research system needs a complete overhaul.." Mrs. Faragonda said casually as she looked around.
I get up with Blaze still in my arms. "Mrs. Faragonda, thank you.." she smiled "it's okay, Y/n. It's all over." The Liberian entered the room again and she sighed in relief but still seemed tense. "The golden gate was about to open. If something had happened to those books.. I would never forgive myself all those powerful text written by and for magicians"
Mrs. Faragonda looked over to her seriously. "There's no need to be alarmed. Are you alright, Y/n." I slowly nodded. "Just shaken up.." Mrs. Faragonda smiled at me. "Good, go on then. You can do your research another day" I frowned but walked out of the library with Blaze.
