"Uh, oh. Somethings going down in the auction house." Tobi spoke, Juri frowned at this.
Tobi, Ray, Damian and Tim had managed to successfully wipe out the pure hybrids in their caged place.
Now they were back in the auction room, and they saw that the guests were still there, shouts and yells of anxiousness and panic clouded the room.
Damian's eyes narrowed behind his mask as they watched from above.
"Who's she?" Tim whispered, his eyes follwing the woman that walked out from behind the stage.
"Chiyo, Kuma's eyes and ears, apparently." Tobi answered quietly.
They watched as the old woman walked up on the stage, black hair tied up in a simple, traditional bun, a red jewellery hair pin in her hair, she wore a dark purple kimono with white designs of various flowers.
"Please, everybody, stay calm." She spoke out, shouts of complaint and disapproval came from the crowd which Chiyo simply smiled at.
She snapped her wrinkly fingers and a worker had scurried towards her with an instrument in hand.
Chiyo placed the koto elegantly onto the ground, brushing the back of her kimono in, she brought herself down onto her knees and pulled the koto towards her.
"What is she doing?" Ray mumbled, nothing but confusion painted on his face.
Chiyo strummed the koto, she began to pluck the strings of the instrument, the sounds standing out from the many shouts of the guests being held inside the auction room.
But they slowly stopped as they listened to the strumming of the strings.
"I understand this situation is bizarre and you all feel that you're in danger, but please keep calm, we have this under control." She spoke, then taking off the mic she had on her.
She plucked the strings, the slow and steady sounds changed, she began to pick up the pace as her whole demeanour had switched entirely, the kind smile on her face, disappearing.
Tobi frowned deeply, he was begining to have a bad feeling in his stomach.
Tim took out binoculars and he focused in on Chiyo, he watched carefully as she continued to pluck the strings, he shivered uncomfortably at how she kept a blank face.
"What's happening there?" They heard Akemi ask.
"Chiyo is playing an instrument right now, and the guests are still here." Tobi informed.
"Wait..." Tim mumbled, zooming in closer to the koto.
Suddenly a dark purple gas was released into the room, from under the stage, sounds of confusion racked them all at the mist that began to form.
They watched from above and saw when the gas came in contact with the guests in the front row, they began to choke and let out pained screams.
"Xylem-4? She's trying to turn them by using its gas form." Damian said.
"She's using that thing she's playing, by pulling a certain string it's releasing the gas." Tim informed.
"Let's go." Tobi said, quickly swinging back carefully and quitely.
The three others followed along beside him, they climbed down the wires and the platforms, using the lights to get them closer to the back.
"Be careful, if she catches you making your way towards her, she will send the other controlled humans to you." Akemi warned.
