"He's black?" Tobi repeated, turning his attention to Juri.
"He is?" Juri slowly said back, looking up at Tobi as they both shared their neutral but surprised looks.
They turned towards the unfamiliar boy in question, and he stared back at them, then towards Tim for answers.
As if a light bulb flickered in their minds they shot their pointer finger straight at the boy, baffled looks on their faces.
"Holy shit!" Juri yelled out.
"He's- he's-" Tobi said as if he were at a loss for words, his finger continuously finding its way to the boy's direction.
'What is up with these guys?' Jason thought, face palming and shaking his head.
The boy flicked his eyes from Tobi to Juri, not sure as to how he was supposed to react to these two strangers astonished at the fact that he was of the same race as them.
"He's black!"
"He is!"
The clueless young boy looked down at his revealed skin from the t-shirt he wore and he flipped his arms around.
"Shit, I think I am." He muttered awkwardly, a small chuckle seeping out in slight amusement.
"Juri, you're here- and Tobi..." Bruce mumbled at the end, letting out a slightly tired sigh as he looked off to the side.
Closing the gap, he walked up closer to them who were still oggling at the new arrival at the entrance.
"Y'know, I think this means that we should drink!" Tobi let out in excitement.
"I'll pass." Bruce immediately turned down his proposal.
"When were you going to introduce us! And how come Dick didn't tell me anything!? That fuck." She said in annoyance.
"Probably because he wanted to keep it as a surprise- anyway, since you're here, help me design my bike." Jason said tossing a paint can to her.
She caught it, creating a soft tap upon impact. Her face twisted in annoyance at his carefree tone towards her.
"Who the fuck are you talking to?" She asked as she smacked the metal can ontop of his head causing his head to bob forward.
"Ow! Bitch..." He hissed.
"Besides, I done it for you time ago already, why should I do it again?" She asked, shifting her weight to one leg, giving off an expression of wanting an answer.
"...Well- look, that doesn't matter-"
"He sold his bike off to some art freak collector." Tim blurted out monotonely.
"Shut up you twink-! Agh!" He groaned out when Juri whacked the top of his head down with the can again.
"You've gotta work on setting a good first impression of yourself to people. You're pretty shit at it." Tobi said as he pulled Juri away from Jason who was about to get his head assaulted once more by the can.
"Says the one with a big ass sniper on his back and alchohol in his hand." Juri shot back.
"Fair." He giggled, flicking her forehead, she let out a noise of complaint as she swatted his hand away from her face.
"Duke."
Said boy looked to Tim in question, and Tim gave him a light nudge, beckoning him to come with him and meet the brother and sister just farther up from them.
As they came even closer, Tobi's face became unreadable. He stared daggers into Duke, having an inkling feeling that Duke wasn't just a boy that was adopted into the Wayne family.
