My face was burning hot from the encounter I had upstairs with that woman. She's something I prefer to stay away from but yet I'm getting fucking married to her, and I'm not okay with it. I stomped down the stairs and sat down on the couch, heat radiating from my body which Noor definitely sensed and told me to calm my ass down. Stupid woman!

My family and her's were literally discussing our marriage date and here I was thinking about how I used to dream about leading a life as "her" husband not Shirsha's. Once again my chain of thoughts were interrupted when Irsha came down, wearing a dark red saree looking disturbingly beautiful.

As soon as I stepped in the hall the first pair of eyes I met with were of Ankit's

As soon as I stepped in the hall the first pair of eyes I met with were of Ankit's. His dangerous eyes were poring holes in my chest. When I came near where they were sitting, they (Mine and his Family) noticed me.

"Areh! Finally you're here" Mom exclaimed.

I just smiled a little bit and took a seat beside Ankit but there was enough space left between us as if some kind of line was drawn between us, glowing red. But I respected his space and was fine with this distance between us.

"So- Shirsha right?" Ankit's mother asked hardly eyeing me.

"Uh- Yes Aunty"

"Hmm... Khana bana sakti ho?"
(Can you cook?)

"Y-yes."

"Well to be particular- can you do all the house chores?"

Ghar ki bahu banane ki soch rhi ho ya fir ghar ki naukrani?
(Are you planning on making me your daughter-in-law or the house maid?)

"Y-yes I can do all the h-house chores"

"Good"

"Why do you think we will be ready to get you married to our Anku?"

As if I wanted to marry him in the first place.

"Uhm- well I guess it's totally your opinion weather you want to get your son married to me. I'm fine with whatever decision you take"

Ankit's mother again gave me that annoying side eye and turned to my father

"I think she's good...but yet still not PERFECT for our Anku"

Ouch! that hurts. Will I ever be the perfect person? No I guess.

Father smiled awkwardly and spoke

"Well I guess it'll take a while for her to be a perfect wife for Ankit beta but seriously, it's time to get her married...I don't want to bear her anymore.. especially after an incident, besides Shubho and I are friends since class 5.. Hai na?(Isn't it?)

Ankit's father aka Shubho uncle smiled a little

"Yes yes! Those were some good memories I still remember! Well I guess in this generation we won't be able to find a girl like Shirsha...so let's just fix the marriage date"

Father and Mother couldn't look any happier. After a while I was asked to take Ankit to my room so they can discuss some serious matter regarding the wedding.

So the wedding is happening! These cruel people. I'm sorry, very very sorry... I promised "her" that if I ever marry someone it'll be only her but see now, how badly I'm breaking the promise which I made to her while I was inside her, we both were naked and she was kissing me all over. These memories sends chills down my spine everytime I remember them. But now look here I was forced to follow this Shirsha to her room. Don't know what I'm gonna do with my life.

She opened her room's door and I was greeted with a sweet smell. Probably didn't notice this earlier when I came in because I was too desperate to use the washroom and leave.

"Uhm, you can sit on the bed...if you want to" her voice- it's intoxicating but Ankit get yourself together, you can't let your heart melt just like that.

"No- thanks...I'd prefer standing in the balcony" I didn't wait for her reply. I simply opened the door and stepped out feeling the cold wind brush my hair away from my forehead and eyes and the tension in my body flies far- far away from me.

I could feel her standing behind me. So I turned my face a little to have a glance of her face and saw her looking at me as if I was some kind of a god standing infront of her. Her lips were slightly parted and her long brownish hair were being whipped out of her face because of the strong wind. But I didn't let the eye contact last long and turned my face back.

"You can join me if you want...no need to stare at me like that"

She cleared her throat a little and spoke...

"S-sorry"

I felt her approaching me and standing beside me... maintaining a fair distance between us.

"I-it looks l-like a storm is a-about to come"

"Yeah! Seems like that to me too"

There was a 5 mins pause between us as we both stared into the sky.

"Y-you listen t-to m-music?"

"Ofcourse I do. That's like my therapy"

"Oh! Mine t-too-"

And before she could continue, she was cut off by aunty calling us downstairs.

"IRSHA! ANKIT! Come down!"
