Psst, this note is for you, dear requester. I'm not very familiar with K-dramas (or really any dramas for that matter) and I didn't want to butcher the story completely, so I maaay have derailed the desired plot, leaving that part out. Hopefully it's still to your liking ;]

. . .

[There's more than one "killer wife," you know.]

The tune of your voice in my head.
How sweet the sound.

A day of strenuous work is finally coming to an end. Tending to multiple Nikkes' requests leaves you less than amused. All the more prepared for a nap. Your bed is calling your name, and relief breathes through your lungs as you answer it.

You open your bedroom door. Freeze.

The fragrant smell of violet hits your nose, and your eyes are drawn to a familiar beauty sitting at the edge of your bed. Clad in an elegant grey, her dress skintight — D turns to face you with the sweetest smile upon her lips.

"Honey, you're back," she beams.

It takes a second to register, but only a second before the smell of her perfume eases you into the act. You crack an endearing smile and cross the room.

"Hope I didn't keep you waiting," you say.

"Not at all. How was work?"

Work. You almost wanna giggle. Work is when you're up on the Surface watching your squad mow down hordes of Raptures, or when you're stationed at your desk for hours at a time scribbling away on mind-numbing paperwork. Today's "work" consisted of bouncing from place to place in the Outpost, seeing to a number of Nikkes' wants and needs like Santa Claus on a leash.

Needless to say, you're pretty stressed. Your legs ache like a mother.

"Exhausting," you sigh and take a seat next to D. Next thing you know, her hands are moving to your shoulders, her fingers delicately working your sore muscles.

"You're always pushing yourself," she says sweetly. "Relax for a while."

You close your eyes, letting yourself sink into the luxury of a massage. "I'll owe you next time, honey."

D giggles. "Not a chance. I'm not the one traveling every which way for hours on end, now am I?"

"Still."
