           Juniper

Colton looks back at us, "Malcolm is here, how would you like to handle this Juniper?"

I look at him, slightly shocked. I never thought he would let me decided how we go about doing this. "Are you sure you want me to decide?" I question him, I know this is getting us nowhere, but I need to make sure he is okay with giving me the reins here, I don't want to overstep again.

He nods, "You know more about Malcolm than both me and my father combined. But you also know you better, I am sure my father and I will run in our wolf forms to be able to get there faster. But as I am sure you are aware, some of my pack is guarding where Malcolm is currently. That and my beta and gamma are there as well. Although they know part of your existence here on the pack, they don't know who and what you are. I am letting you decide how you want my pack to know you at the start." I nod.

Colton explained that wonderfully. He is giving the choose to me. How do I want to introduce myself. I pause for a moment. "Although I am sure there are going to be mixed reactions no matter what I choose to do, I am going to run in my fox form. I am hoping that is I present myself as a shifter, it will be easier for your pack to accept me at first glance." I look at them both, wanting some sort of agreement to my decision.

Ash cuts is. "I think that is a wonderful decision, but we need to get going. No need to keep Malcolm waiting." We both nod in agreement as we step onto the open field in front of Ash's cabin. I can tell them want me to shift first, so I do just that. Within a blink of an eye, and well I guess a little cloud of smoke, I am shifted into my snow white fox. Scarlett is a white snow fox with scarlet red paws, ears, and tip of her tail. Which is how she got her name.

I watch as the both look at me in awe, not moving. So I bark at them, which in return gets them moving. I watch as the shift into their brown wolfs each with a different pattern. You can see different grays peaking through on Ash's wolf, while Colton's is mostly brown with hints of black. Can I just say, they are huge. I knew my fox was tiny, smaller then even the average fox shifter. But oh my goddess, I feel tiny next to them.

Colton barks grabbing our attention, and tilts his head. Letting us know it is time to leave. Letting Scarlet have the reins I sit back and watch as the trees go by. You would think that we would be much slower then the two wolfs because of our size, but in all honesty, We aren't even using our extra speed thanks to our vampire side. And we are keeping up just fine. Normally, the run would take a total of about ten or so minutes to walk, but with us running we get there in five.

As Colton comes to a stop, I decide to huddle in between Ash's legs until Colton has shifted and changed. Once he has, he looks over to notice that Ash hasn't shifted back yet. Colton tilts to his head, before glancing down to take notice of me. He smiles at me in understanding and jerks his head for me to come forward. As I do the area grows quite, Ash quickly shifts back to human form. And I am left sitting at Colton's feet, waiting for a sign.

"Elder Malcolm, Thank you for coming at such quickness. Everyone, this is Elder Malcolm. Please make him feel as welcome as possible." Everyone nods. "I would also like to introduce you all to someone else. This is Juniper and she will be joining our pack for the time being."

As if that's my que, I shift back into my human form. I give a small smile to everyone, trying to hide my nerves. "Nice to meet you Juniper, Welcome to the Half Moon pack. My names Ezra, the Beta of this pack." Ezra walks up to shake my hands. Ezra has blond hair and blue eyes, I can guess is wolf is also going to be on the lighter side of colors. I nod at him, and shake his out stretched hand.

Ezra takes a step back, allowing me to look around the small opening. This is where I catch the look of Malcolm, and perched on his should is a cat. My cat, my familiar, Basil. I squeal seemingly out of nowhere, and start to jog over to where Malcolm and Basil are standing. Seeing me, Basil meows and jumps down from Malcolm's shoulder. As soon as we reach each other, I hug him and give him all the love I can. Completely ignoring the attention that I have drawn onto myself.

Colton clears his voice. "Everyone back to work, We can handle it from here." Hearing his voice, it knocks me out of my little bubble, and allows me to look over to Malcolm once more. Noticing he has my attention, he opens up his arms allowing for me to be able to hug him. I quickly jump into his arms.

Malcolm doesn't let go, petting my hair as he hugs me. After a few seconds, seeing as he needed to reassure himself that I was still alive. He lets go, "I am so glad you are okay" He mumbles, before pulling me into another hug. He lets go once and for all, allowing me to turn around and face Ash, Colton, and Ezra.

"Malcolm I would like to introduce to you, the people who saved me. The old teddy bear over there is Ashton, previous alpha of the pack. Ash has been allowing me to stay at his house and is the one who found me. Colton, the middle one, is the current alpha and has helped aid his dad in my healing. And finally Ezra, as you know it the beta of the pack, I have just truly met him, although I am sure he kept things under control and his alpha was dealing with me." I introduce them.

I give them all a bright smile as Malcolm speaks, "First and most importantly, Thank you for taking care of my daughter. Second I am sure that you three have many questions, and all will be explained. But I would like to do it in a more comfortable setting, that and I am quite hungry." I give out a quite chuckle.

Ash steps forward with a nod. Reaching out his hand. "Of course sir, If you would follow us, I can lead you to where Juniper has been staying since I found her. And I am sure we can get you something to eat. It is getting to be lunchtime after all." He says as they shake hands. Ash turns around and gives Colton a signal him know to go home.

The three of them shift, although I can see many questions running around Ezra's head at the moment. I wonder how much him and the Gamma truly know about me. I watch as the strip their clothes and shift into there wolfs. And just as I had though Ezra's wolf is a light blond brown color.

They start to run off back to the house, and me and Malcolm follow. I decided not to shift this time and to stay with Malcolm. Five minutes later we are back at Ash's cabin. He lets us in and I speak up, "I'll make lunch, I will let you get to know Malcolm a little, and probably fill in Ezra over there. He looks a little confused." I say with a bright smile as I head into the kitchen.

I grab the apron on the wall, as the men sit on the sofas. I hear them explain a little more to poor Ezra who is as confused as a mouse. I decide to make different kind of mini roll ups. they are simple to make and don't include anything warm. So allowing my shadows to help, making this whole cooking thing go even faster. I glance up as I an started to cut the roll ups so it's easier to share. I get a few different looks from the men int the room. Ash and Colton still look at me in slight awe, Ezra looks even more confused and kind of like he is going to pass out, and Malcolm just has a proud smile on his face. He knows how far I have came with all my powers.

As I finish up and plate lunch, I head out to the living room and sit the platter down on the coffee table. "Lunch is served, Let's eat. We can discuss everything after lunch. There is still plenty of time." I inform them of what is on the plate before everyone starts eating.
