Chapter 10

(Kim finds out about Chay's research, the two have a talk, and Chay decides he wants to give Porsche a final chance of finding a place in his new life.

3 Alpha's......one being his brother and one being his new mate.......all in one house.........what can possibly go wrong?) 

'We're what?' Kim asked, both looking and sounding astounded, as he stared at Chay.

'Well, you were the one who has been saying I'm your mate every 5 minutes since you lost your memory, why does it surprise you all of a sudden!' Chay huffed, for some reason suddenly feeling defensive at Kim's amazement.

Chay tried to remind himself that Kim had only arrived at the house an hour ago, and he had probably had the same look of bemused wonder on his own face when he had found out the information, plus Chay had needed to spend the first twenty minutes allowing his crazy Alpha to spin around like some kind of doll until he got dizzy, while Kim had checked him over for the injuries that Chay had already said .........twenty times........that he didn't have! Kim had only stopped his inspection when Chay had placed his palms firmly on the other man's arm's and complained that if he got spun one more time he was going to throw up. Kim had then ushered Chay over to the couch as if he were made of glass and asked him if he wanted to lie down, take a nap, needed a pillow, some water, a massage........the list had gone on, and Chay had just wanted it to stop so they could speak about what he'd actually called Kim here for.

'Are you going to be like this after every rut I spend with you? Because if so please tell me now!' Chay had grumbled, only to burst out laughing when Kim's eyes had widened, and his face had gone slack. 'Kim?' Chay had giggled, waving his hand in front of the other man's face. 'Earth calling Kim........wake up!!'

Kim blinked and looked at him, eyes almost unseeing.

'Every rut?.......you mean you want to spend another one with me?' Kim had blurted out, disbelievingly.

How Kim could be such a genius and such a dimwit at the same time never ceased to amaze Chay......but this time he did have to admit that all the inconsistent cues Chay had been giving him ever since he woke up in the hospital, did give him a solid reason for being confused.

'Yes Kim........every rut! Just like I expect you to spend every one of my heats with me from now on!' When Kim had opened his mouth to either speak, or drop his jaw on the floor, Chay wasn't sure which, Chay had simply carried on speaking. '.....Look, why don't you listen to what I have to say and it will make more sense!'

Kim had nodded in agreement and Chay had begun speaking.

And that's how they had gotten here......half an hour later and Kim was staring at him like one of those old computers with the circle whirling around on the screen, telling you it was loading but never quite managing to do anything!

Great! Part of Chay's mind thought to himself, He finally worked out that he found his Alpha, and now he went and broke him!

Of course, Kim wouldn't be Kim if he was easily defeated, or broken, even with news as mind shattering as this. It simply took Kim a few minutes before his mind seemed to reboot enough that he could function again. As soon as he did so though, Chay found himself whisked up into the air with an indignant squark, before being deposited on his back on the sofa, with a grinning Alpha settled between his legs once again. Kim's body was almost plastered front to front with Chay's, leaving no room for him to push the other man away. Kim had also gone to one of his favourite places on Chay's body and buried his face in the crook of Chay's neck, breathing in heavily.
