CHAPTER THIRTEEN
" am I making you feel sick? "Everyone had left the room leaving Sarah Black consoling the poor and scared Beatriz Barnes. They had moved downstairs, giving them space. In her panic, Emily had managed to make coffee for everyone. They all sat around the little dinner table, in silence. No one really knew what to say.
Out of all of them, Paul was the most silent one. He really couldn't comprehend what happened to his Bea. Why did she soothe at the sound of Sarah Black? To his knowledge, Sarah hated practically every living ( and dead if we get specific ) thing in the world, so why had she hugged Bea so strongly? What bond did they have? What did they know that the pack didn't?
Thanks to their senses, they could hear what was happening upstairs. Beatriz had finally stopped crying, Sarah had not uttered a word. They were probably just silently staring at each other. After all, they didn't know each other-
"And you had to get caught!" Sarah tried her best not to shout or look angry, she knew it wasn't her fault, but now the pack knew about them. Maybe it would be for the better, or maybe not, Sarah hadn't thought about it long enough.
"Well, im sorry!" Bea shouted back. Her tears had stopped minutes ago. First the two girls just sat on silence, then, as it was usual, Sarah started to lecture her, that as usual turned into a little shouting fight. "You know I can't control them!" She shouted from the bed, Sarah had stood up, trying to calm her anger.
Sarah had learned, that now as a shifter, her temper was ten times worse. There were many times when she had to get out to the woods so she could shift without hurting Bea ( not that she was even capable ).
"Yes!" She said desperately. "Yes! I know! But fucking Charlotte could've gone a bit farther or something!" She moved her hands around. "Not to start doing it in their fucking backyard!" She was of course exaggerating.
Beatriz slowly got up from the bed. "Ayelen, Len." She whispered softly, trying to calm the Black girl down. There was something in her, Bea didn't know what, but there was something that made every wall she had build go down when she was with her Ayelen. She felt at peace with her, the voices shut down, made her calm. "Len, you have to calm down." She looked at her. Thanks to her wolfy gene, Bea had to look up so she could see Sarah's brown eyes.
