Welcome to the next chapter of Isla Blackwell's journey. As we delve into this new book, I want to provide some context regarding the timeline of events.

This story takes place two years after the secret romance between Isla and Rafe, as depicted in Book 1, of this trilogy "Riptide." During the time between, much has changed for Isla and the characters around her.

This book is based on Season 1 of Outer Banks, with the beginning of this story starting just before Episode 1. It's a glimpse into the lives of our characters just before the events portrayed on screen begin to unfold, and then following the rough plot of the series. But of course, a little bit more dramatic.

Join Isla as she navigates the complexities of her world, filled with rivalries, relationships, and unexpected twists of her love triangle between Rafe and JJ and somehow a treasure hunt.

Thank you for joining me on this adventure, and for all your support on the original Drifters, I'm so excited to rewrite this story for you all.

Oh, and despite text to speech, Isla's name is pronounced eye-la.
