"Wait, so it is the council?" asked Sophie, needing to be sure. "Of course it is. Who else would it be?" asked Stina. The looks on everyone's faces answered her question. "Oh. Well it's not the Neverseen. We haven't seen them since Elysian when Vespera died." Keefe flinched. Well, it was his mom who murdered her. "Sooo what do you know, Stina?" asked Sophie. Stina smirked. Sophie was about to strangle her, when Maruca and Lihn appeared with food. "Oh!" Sophie forgot the reason she came! "We forgot to get food!" Stina smirked again. "I didn't." They all were about to get food, when the bells rang again. "Ugh. Bye guys!" yelled Biana, over the noise of everyone talking and cleaning up. "Come on, Sophie."

The sessions were a big blur- except for her telepathy session. When she entered the room, Tiergan sighed. "It's so sad that Fitz can't be a telepath anymore. He was better than you." Sophie was offended. "I'm more powerful than Fitz." Tiergan barely looked at her. "In telepathy, yes, but not in power." Seeing the confused look on Sophie's face, he added, "He is a male. He has more power." It struck her then. Tiergan was definitely sexist. Sure, sexisem didn't exist in the lost cities, but Tiergan was acting exactly like some of the humans in the forbidden cities. She turned and ran out the door.

She ran into her beautiful bedroom, wishing she was at Havenfield. Why was she having such an awful day? She wished she could go back to when she was twelve. When everything was so easy. When Fitz wasn't a jerk. She glanced out the window. The sky was turning pink. "Oh my gosh!" she said out loud. "I need to go!"
