Sixteen

Sophie glared at Lihn's mother as she held up a crystal and stepped in the light to Havenfield. It was really hard to carry Lihh AND Princess Purryfins. She wished she could just throw the murcat through the light, then take Lihn to Elwin. The best she could do was just hail Elwin and tell him to meet them at Havenfield. Then she had to hail someone much more difficult. The imparter was ringing. After about two minutes, Tam answered. He looked very annoyed. He had some lipstick on his cheek. In the background, Rayni was lying on his bed. Sophie almost dropped the imparter. And then she almost barfed. "What are you looking at?!" yelled Tam. "And WHAT DO YOU WANT?!!??!" Sophie took a deep breath. "Tam, Lihn fainted. She doesn't seem to be breathing." Sophie expected Tam to have- well, a temper tantrum. Instead, he just shrugged. "Call me when she wakes up. Maybe me and Rayni could come over." She wanted to scream in his face. The imparter went blank. "AGHH!!!" Screamed Lihn. Sophie ran around the house. Then she remembered Princess Purryfins, who was in her arms the whole time. "MOM!!" she yelled at the top of her lungs. Edaline rushed towards her. "Here." Sophie practically threw the murcat in Edaline's arms, and then raced to Lihn. Elwin was already examining her. His eyes frantically wandered everywhere, as if the answer was somewhere in the yard. He finally just sighed. "I don't think the problem is physical." Lihn was cradling her head in hands and moaning. No. Sophie put her hands on Lihn's temples and gasped. It was chaos inside. There were about five Tams, four Raynis,Three Fitz's, and to Sophie's dismay, a Sophie, all running around. In the middle, there was a fancy dinner set up. There was ten wine glasses, mallowmelt, some weird fruit, and in the middle, Princess Purryfins, with exs for eyes. Sophie gasped. Lihn's mind was broken.
