"What?!" 'How' probably would've been a better question. Or 'why'. "They found out that she's your biological mother." Edaline suddenly began to pace. "And they want to replace her with-" A door slammed open. Grady was home. "Hey kiddo! Hope I'm not too late! Are you packed?" She nodded. She wasn't allowed to bring much, only her tunics and capes and pathfinder. She wasn't even allowed to bring Ella! At least she would have her friends. And Keefe. She would even get a roommate! "Did you eat?" asked Grady, pulling Sophie out of her thoughts. She started to nod, then realized that she hadn't. She shook her head. "Well that's an easy fix then!"Grady smiled at his humor, but it looked forced. 2,220 seconds later, she was all ready to go. This time, they all had tears in their eyes, but for different reasons. "Bye mom. Bye dad. I love you guys so much." "Stay safe, Sophie." whispered Edaline as the light pulled Sophie away.

"Sophie!!We're roommates!!" She turned to see who had spoken. It was Biana! "I can't believe they didn't let me bring Lady Sassyfur!" Sophie laughed. "They didn't let me bring Ella either." "Hello girls." said Magnet Leto. "You should probably find your room before dinner." Seeing the confused looks on their faces, he added, "A skilled conjurer will make them appear in your room at sunset. But for now I have to go." He light leaped away. "We better go find our room." said Biana. They started the long walk to the tower. "Have you seen the boys?" "Nope not yet. It's so sad how Jensi and Rex never manifested." Sophie sighed. "It feels like we all drifted apart. Anyway, where's Fitz?" Biana's eyes grew wide. "You haven't heard? Fitz is talentless now." "WAIT WHAT?!!!!!!!!!????????" Sophie yelled. "Shhhhh. I can't believe you haven't heard yet. Apparently it was Alvar's dying wish. It would've happened to me too, but I thought the potion looked gross." Sophie felt like she was drowning from the information. "A member from the NEVERSEEN came to your house?!" "Yeah. Sorry I would've told you, but it only happened two days ago." They got to their door and licked the DNA squares. The door opened. The room was beautiful, about five different rooms, with flimsy yellow curtains, two big canopy beds,a large closet and best of all, a little nook, perfect for doing schoolwork. Biana immediately headed towards the closet, with the bags in her hands. Sophie found something else. A note. With the council's symbol on it.
