"DAD!" screamed Lihn. She carefully took the unconscious murcat out, and checked her pulse. "Sophie! She's still alive, but she doesn't have much time left. Does Elwin treat animals?" Sophie was seeing red. "No. But Grady and Edaline do. Your parents really are the worst." Lihn sighed. "They're not usually this bad. How about I stay here and deal with my parents, and you take Princess Purryfins to Grady and Edaline." Sophie shook her head. "No, I want to see the drama, and I'm sure you'd want to be there with Princess Purryfins." Lihn looked doubtful, but then she nodded. She clenched her fists. "DAD!!!" Her mother walked in instead. "Your father is upstairs. What on earth is the matter?" Lihn clenched her fists even harder. "Look." She said as she pointed to Princess Purryfins. Her mother gasped. Then she sighed. "Last night, your father suggested doing that. I thought he was joking but I guess not." Lihn looked like she was going to explode. "I hate you both. You and dad only care about yourselves and your reputation. I'm getting sick of it!!" For Lihn and her parents, that was a giant outburst. For everyone else, it was practically nothing. However, Lihn's mom started to cry. "I-I hate h-him t-t-too. H-h-he t-t-tricked me into marrying h-h-him. H-h-he threatened to kill you, i-if I don't agree t-t-to what h-h-he says." Sophie rolled her eyes, but Lihn saw something in her mother. "Mom. I'm sorry, but no. You don't care about Tam. My twin brother." Now is was the (dreadful) mother's turn to roll her eyes. "You mean the person who wouldn't stay here with you? The one who doesn't care about what you care about?" Tears came to Lihn's eyes. "S-stop! That's not true." The Dreadful Mom smirked. "Then explain why he isn't here now. He's probably with his girlfriend, Rayni." Lihn looked really overwhelmed. Then she collapsed to the ground.
