Writer's POV
Present...Weeks have gone by since the day the both of them had their special night. Everything so far was okay, no arguments, only minor ones about things like the fact that Emma's bump was starting to show and she'd ask him constantly, "do I look fat?"
Of course, he would always say no but she would say "you're lying."
Aside from those, everything between them was content. Now, she's ten weeks into pregnancy and really, really moody. They were sitting on the couch, his arms draped around her and she was snuggled into his side.
"Do you have to go to work tomorrow?" She asked keeping her eyes on the oh, so interesting Jack Sparrow that was currently on the TV screen.
"Yeah, but I'll come home early." He responded and randomly placed a kiss on top of her head.
As she played with the buttons on his shirt, it brought her mind back to something. "Hey, I found something the other day in your room that I've been meaning to ask about..."
"What did you find?" He smiled and rolled his eyes at the fact that she'd been going through his stuff again, boredom can really get to her.
"I don't know, it was this metal thing.." She paused and got up, "hold on let me get it." She left the living room and descended into his bedroom.
Killian leaned back into the couch and continued watching Pirates of The Caribbean: The Curse of The Black Pearl.
Mere seconds passed before she returned with the object in hand, "Here." She passed over the metal contraption.
"Oh, that." He grabbed it and smiled. "It's a hook."
"Why do you have it?" She questioned curiously and sat back beside him.
"We'd um... we used it like two times for roleplay.." He smirked slightly and curled his fingers around it.
"Roleplay?" She raised an eyebrow and grinned.
"Yeah." He smiled and strapped on the leather base before quickly twisting the hook into place.
"Were you like Captain Hook or something?" She chuckled.
He nodded and looked at her.
"And let me guess, I was your wench?"
"Spot on." He smiled.
"So.. what did you with it?" She smirked and ran her finger along the metal curve teasingly.
"Things I'd usually do with my fingers, love." He gave her a look.
She winced, picturing it in her head, "ouch."
"You liked it." He laughed and shrugged. "Plus, I was gentle and very careful."
"Well, I think it's kind of... dashing." She smiled at him.
"Oh, I know." He winked at her.
He took off the hook and laid it on the coffee table before wrapping his arms back around her, pulling her close to his side again.
A few minutes passed by as the two watched the movie, then suddenly, Emma jolted upright, "Woah."
"What?" He looked at her, concern visible in his eyes.
"The baby just moved.." She said looking down at the small bump.
"It did?" He smiled following her gaze to her stomach.
"Here. Maybe you can feel it, but it was so faint." She took his hand and placed it over her belly.
Emma laughed, feeling the small baby shift inside her, causing a fluttering feeling within her.
"I felt it, I did." He grinned excitedly and kept his hand where it was thinking maybe he'd feel more.
"I think he's done.." She said and removed her hand.
"He?" He looked at her.
"It could be a She." Emma smiled, "though, I'd like a He."
"Well, maybe you'll get a He." Killian leaned in and kissed her cheek sweetly, "Either way, we'll have the most beautiful baby ever."
"Hell yes we will." She grinned and looked back at her ample stomach in amazement that an actual living thing was growing inside of her.
