Writer's POV

Emma stood in line, impatiently tapping her foot against the polished floors. She'd been waiting for at least forty minutes so she could get a stupid plane ticket.

Her mother, Mary Margaret (or Snow as many called her because of her pale skin and pitch black hair), had suggested that she should go over for a visit.

And Emma being the great daughter she is, agreed.

Finally, it was her turn. She walked up the white wooden counter and gave the attendant a kind smile.

"Hi, I need a ticket for Maine.." Emma told the Woman. The Woman nodded and asked for Emma's ID, which she gladly handed over.

She would rather go by car, but if she did her mother would criticize her, since that is what she always does.

Emma watched the Woman click a few buttons in the computer before the ticket printed out with all of Emma's information.

She took the ticket and smiled, "thank you."

The Woman nodded and Emma walked away, looking down for just a brief second to put her ticket away but was interrupted when someone bumped into her.

She looked up, then back down seeing her ID and passport on the floor. The man bent over and picked up her things before handing them back to her.

She looked at him, catching his blue gaze, "oh..my god I'm so sorry!" She apologized as she took her belongings.

He shook his head and smiled slightly, "it's my fault, I should of been looking where I was going." He said.

She plainly nodded and smiled, "thank you, and sorry once again." She said shyly before walking out of the building and towards her car.

She didn't get far before she felt fingers wrapping around her arm and spinning her around. She opened her mouth to protest but then saw who it was as she turned her head to face him.

"You know..I realized that were both here for plane tickets.." He started.

She pressed her lips in a thin smile and looked at him, "that's uh, sort of what the airport is for." She teased.

"Yeah, but, that to me is a big deal, you know? So I think we should honor it with a cup of coffee." He offered.

Emma couldn't help but crack a grin and nod holding out her hand, "Emma Swan, and I would love to."

"I know you're name," He chuckled. Then it disappeared seeing her expression. "Oh no no! I know your name because I picked up your passport, not because I'm some creepy rapist stalker or something." He said nervously.

She laughed softly and smirked, "I know, so uh, meet me at Granny's at eight.." She said as she opened her car door.

He grinned, she saw he almost looked surprised, "I'll be there. On time." He nodded.

She smiled and got in her car, looking at him one last time before turning on the engine and driving away.
