"Emerson," Arhaan's voice croaked, strained by the fever and persistent cough. Each word was an effort, punctuated by shallow breaths. His usually vibrant tone now carried a weight of exhaustion and discomfort. "I need details," he insisted, his determination undeterred by his weakened state.

Emerson and Arhaan, old college friends who once walked the hallowed halls of Harvard together

"What? No 'hi' or 'hello'? Not even a 'are you alive'? You're heartless, Rajvanshi," Emerson retorted. The lack of pleasantries didn't deter Arhaan, though. He had a pressing matter to discuss.

"Emerson, I need you to find the full details," Arhaan insisted.

"Oi, mate, I'm not the bleedin' FBI, are ya kiddin' me?" Emerson retorted, his Aussie accent slipping through in moments of exasperation. "And you better count yer lucky stars that Jonathan's even on board with this," he added, his tone edged with a mix of sarcasm and amusement.

"You sure about this whole thing?" Arhaan sought confirmation. Emerson's confidence was unwavering. "Yeah, a hundred percent. Jonathan has solved six murders this year alone. We can't doubt him," he assured.
