What happened?

Sonic stayed hidden as Odette sighed before sitting next to the lake and traced her finger in the calm water. "Oh my sweet parents... my sister... my darling Sonic.... I wish I could tell you what happened to me..... and why I must stay away...." She said to herself as a tear fell from her eyes. Sonic walks up behind her and she sees his reflection in the water. "Oh my love.... I miss you" she smiled. "I did too" sonic replied making her jump and almost fall into the water but he catches her. "Sorry didn't mean to scare you." He smiled so happy to have found her. "Sonic... you're here!" She hugs him with tears of joy falling. "Wait a minute how did you find me?" She asked. "I search everywhere and this jeweled cube lead me here." Sonic shows her and she was surprised. "Now you want to explain to me how you turn into a beautiful swan?" He asked and she nods. "Perhaps I could be of assistance in that" they turn to see a white hedgehog. "Sonic this is Silver he and Blaze have been taking care of me since.... Well it happened." Odette sighed. "What happened?" Sonic asked and Silver conjured up a table with food and tea for them to enjoy. "It all started after the man who kidnapped her had a change of heart."

Odette wakes up gagged and tied up alerting the kidnapper who stops. She struggles as he carries her to the back of the coach and tosses her in yet before he could shut and lock the door his eyes widen. "Odette....." he said and she raised a confused brow at the older black and red hedgehog. "No how are you alive.... You and your mother.... My god I must inform king d—ARGH!!!" A arrow flew through him making him fall. Odette cuts the rope and gets out just as she saw King Rothbart and Queen Odeile. "I knew that was her cousin shadow and he would betray us!" Odeile yelled. "That you were now for you Odette you will never return to your family!" Rothbart said and Odette was flash with a pink and red light with shadowy crows. They laugh wickedly seeing her transform into a pink swan making her cry. "Now then how about a new pillow my queen." Rothbart said and plucked a feather making Odette wince. "I would love that and to have a delicious swan for dinner" she smiled and Rothbart pulls the net out only to be yank away by an invisible force. "This way Odette!" A small purple cat with fairy wings said. Odette flys away with the fairy and out of sight of Rothbart. "NO THAT BITCH GOT AWAY!!!" He growls and looks at the Shadow's dead body. "At least he will eaten by the wild life let's go Odeile." He said and they rode off with Shadow's things yet shadow was still alive and once they were gone he fled to the nearest kingdom for help.
Odette arrived to the hidden land where she meets silver the guardian and enchanter of the land who gives her the sapphire necklace. Unfortunately for Odette the sapphire only helps her transform into her mortal self at night. For she was cursed by the forbidden dark arts. The fairy who helped her grew into a beautiful enchantress and introduced herself as Blaze who gave Odette a home. Until this curse was lifted and to be protected from Rothbart she is to stay here. She told Silver and Blaze of Sonic and to be on the lookout for him for she knew he would come and save her. They agreed to her wish and she soon met the other fairies and elves who inform her how to release the curse.

"How?" Sonic asked and Silver sets the cup down. "You must proclaim your love for her make a vow to love her to the world" silver said. "How could he to the world?" Odette asked. "Or some kind of gathering" silver explained. "THE BALL! Theres is a ball for everyone coming soon and I will do it there!" Sonic smiled and held Odette's hand. "I promise you will be released from this curse my love and I will defeat Rothbart and Odeile for their crimes." Sonic said and Odette's heart soars with joy. "Odette was right you are pure in heart go get the ball ready we will arrive with her." Blaze said walking up. "No let me take her back to the castle where she w—" "Sonic I'm safer here just please return to the kingdom tell my family I'm alright.... I will have my father escort me please." Odette begged. "Odette please I just— wait..." Sonic soon recalls what silver repeated from Shadow. "You said her mother and her being alive...." Sonic said and Odette looms at them. "Why did he say that?" Odette asked.
