They had been driving for about 45 minutes when Meemaw broke the silence. "So Moonpie are you going to tell me what I saw?" "Ivy and I um, kissed." Sheldon winced at the words coming out of his mouth. "Wow, was that the first time?" Meemaw asked. "That was the third time," Sheldon sunk back into his seat.

"Third time!" Meemaw exclaimed. Sheldons face heated up. "What's happening with you guys?" She continued. "I don't actually know. Ivy doesn't want to rush anything," Sheldon sighed. "what do you want to be with her then?" She looks in the rearview mirror to look at her grandson. "I really like her, but I don't know. I don't know what to do," he shrinks even further into his seat.

"Do you want me to talk to her and report back to you?" She offered. "Talk to her about what, Meemaw?" He sits up eagerly. "Well I can ask what she wants, and maybe push for her to go out on a date? No need to tell your parents, I can be the adult supervision," Meemaw smiles. "That would be wonderful!" Sheldon beamed. "Done Moonpie, and we are here. Have a good day and I will see you at 4pm." Meemaw turned to Sheldon. "Goodbye Meemaw, don't mess it up," he smiled and got out of the car.

Knock Knock!
"Come in!" Ivy called from the living room she migrated out to. "I brought milk and cookies," Connie walked into the living room sitting down on the other end of the couch. "Yum," she said reaching for a cookie. "First, tell me what you intend on doing with my grandson," Connie said moving the plate away from Ivy's reach.

Ivy sighed. "What did Sheldon say?" She asked. "Doesn't matter, what do you say?" Connie's eyebrow perched up. "Well, I only started feeling these things when he came back from Germany about three weeks ago so it's too soon to tell." She shrugs. "You've liked him for three weeks?" Connie gasped. "No! Maybe? I don't know what I am feeling," Ivy pinched the bridge of her nose.

"How about this, go out with him somewhere on a date. I can supervise no one else has to know," Connie offered Ivy a cookie and a glass of milk. "I mean that could be good. Oh we can go to the train museum, he'd love that!" Ivy sat up. "You wanna go on a date at a train place, you would die," Connie chuckled. "True, um what should we do?" Ivy asked. "How about a normal museum date? That way you can bore each other," Connie laughs at her remark.

"That's a really good idea! Thank you Mrs Tucker," she smiled at the old lady. "Always here to help, now I have to get to the video store," Connie smiled and began to get up. "And please call me Connie," she finished and walked herself out. "Bye Connie," Ivy talked to the empty room.

Ivy sighed and reached for the phone. She dialed her mum's work number and let it ring for a couple seconds before her mum picked it up. "Hello," Claires voice crackled through the phone. "Hey mum, you know how I have the college class tomorrow?" Ivy said twirling the wire around her finger. "Yes," her mum hummed. "Can I maybe stay at the Coopers tonight?" She asked. "Of course love, just ask Mary and leave a note if you're over there." Her mum said gleefully. "Thanks, love you!" She squealed. "Love you too,"

"Hi Mrs Cooper it is Ivy," Ivy said. "Oh hi Ivy, how is your hand," Mary said pleasantly. "It is healing well, thank you. I wanted to ask if I could stay over tonight because I am coming with Sheldon tomorrow?" She winced anticipating the answer. "Well of course sweetie, always welcome. Missy will be home in an hour so you're welcome to come over whenever," Mary's smile was evident in her voice. "Thank you Mrs Cooper, I will be over soon," she responded and hung up.

Ivy got up and went to her room to pick out an outfit. Even if she had clothes at the Coopers she still wanted to pick a nice outfit out to see her- to see Sheldon.

Ivy grabbed a pair of short denim shorts and a cropped Radiohead shirt and paired it with a grey zip up Sheldon bought her a year ago for her birthday. It had an anatomy of the heart labelled on the back.

She then sat at her vanity and applied natural makeup with a nude glossy lip. Hopefully it's not too noticeable on Sheldon's lips.

Around five o'clock Ivy began to walk over to the Cooper house

"Hey Mrs Cooper!" Ivy called as she entered the house. "In her sweetie," Mary replied from the kitchen. "Can I help?" Ivy offered as she walked in. "Absolutely not, you are resting. Come sit I wanna talk to you about something," Mary pointed at a chair and sat down at the opposite one.

"I want to apologise for what I said last week about Shelly. It was out of line." Mary spoke softly holding Ivy's good hand in hers. "No please, I responded rudely I would like to apologise." Ivy waved her injured hand about. "No, you responded in an appropriate manner to what my husband and I were talking to you about," Mary hushed Ivy.

"Ivy?" A warm familiar voice was heard behind her. "Hey Shelds!" She beamed and turned around. "What are you doing here? You should be resting," he said concerned. "I'm okay, hey can I see your progress on your paper?" She asked nonchalantly. Sheldon nodded and smiled his face brightening. "Excuse me," Ivy excused herself.

The two teens walked into Sheldon's room and closed the door. Ivy turned around to face Sheldon and he grabbed her face softly bringing her in. Their lips collided like a magnetic force was pushing them together. Like they couldn't be in the same proximity without touching.

a magnetic field of energy.
