Two years have passed since the incident at the Dueling stadium/Zwei Wing concert. Yusei has returned to the garage after taking his D-Wheel out for another test drive in the tunnels. After the engine got busted, he discovered the source of the problem, the accelerator chip. A small device that regulates the engine's output. The first chip he used was not as good as he thought, and resulted in the engine going haywire. Since then, he found a new accelerator chip, however, it was still a little off. Anytime he made sudden turns the bike would falter and almost lose balance. After parking the bike, he began fixing his D-Wheel. Everything except the chip was working fine. Unless he can find a better quality chip, the D-Wheel will not function at its best.
???: Yusei! Hey, Yusei! Are you down here?
Yusei and his three friends heard a voice calling out to him. They see a young boy running in from the corner of the garage. He had messy long red hair and grey eyes, wearing a yellow beanie, a blue coat over an orange shirt and dark blue shorts.
