Chapter 30: No More Seraphim

Yujin sat on her couch, scrolling through her phone absentmindedly. Suddenly, a notification popped up on her screen, catching her attention. It was a video from Young-ji's channel, clicking on the notification, she found that it was a new season of "Nothing Much Prepared."

"Eh? Young-ji-ah started a new season?" Yujin commented in interest, looking at the thumbnail, she saw that the image of the guest was blurred out. "Hmm, who's her guest this time?"

As the video played, Yujin's eyes widened in surprise when she saw the familiar face of her close 'friend', Sei, sitting beside Young-ji. Her initial shock quickly turned into excitement, and she couldn't help but grin from ear to ear, a tinge of red on her cheeks at seeing Sei again, even if it was only on screen.

"Eh?! Sei is on Young-ji's show?!" Yujin exclaimed to herself, barely able to contain her excitement.

As the video continued, Yujin watched intently, hanging on every word exchanged between Sei and Young-ji. She couldn't help but laugh along with their antics, feeling a sense of pride knowing that her friend was doing so well on the show.

When Young-ji and Sei began chatting about various topics, including Sei's experience as an idol and his interactions with his fellow group members, Yujin found herself nodding along in agreement. She had always admired Sei and Divinity's, dedication and passion for their work, and hearing him talk about his experiences only made her respect him even more. Although there was a certain topic during the discussion that had caught her attention.

"Sei-ah, do you have a girlfriend?" Young-ji's voiced played through the screen, Yujin listenting intently at Sei's answer.

"Ani." Came Sei's quick reply.

Aigoo, Sei-ah, you answered so fast!" Young-ji teased, a mischievous twinkle in her eyes. "Are you hiding a special relationship already?"

Sei chuckled nervously, his gaze shifting slightly as he tried to come up with a response. "Anii, we're really busy in our schedules especially sincd our company is still new, so I don't really have the time for, uh....dating."

At that, a relieved sigh escaped Yujin's lips. Sei was... is still single, in a way there was still hope, but what if Young-ji was right, and Sei was just hiding a relationship, it wouldn't be unheard of after all.

Shaking her head, she continued to watch the interactions between Young-ji and Sei, laughing at how fast Young-ji was getting drunk.

But as the conversation progressed, Yujin couldn't shake the feeling of curiosity about how Sei ended up on Young-ji's show. She wondered if they had planned it together or if it was just a spur-of-the-moment decision.

After finishing the video, Yujin couldn't contain her excitement any longer. She quickly grabbed her phone and dialed Young-ji's number.

"Yoboseyo~" Young-ji's voice echoed through the phone.

"Young-ji-ah," Yujin exclaimed, unable to contain her excitement. "Why didn't you tell me Sei was gonna be on your show?!"

"Eh? You two know each other?" Came Young-ji's surprised voice. "Hold on, are you the person he's in a secret relationship with?! Wah, An Yujin!"

"E-eh?! N-no, it's not like that." Yujin stuttered out, her face flushing. "Sei and I are just really good friends.... yeah, friends."

"Oh? Doesn't sound like it." Young-ji's teasing voice replied through the phone. "C'mon, tell me, is there something going on between you two?"

Yujin released a deep sigh, as she finally gave in to Young-ji's request. "W-well, we've had a lot of interactions together, and we've gotten close, and well I...."
