The heavy door to the meeting room clicked shut behind Bang Janghyuk and Son Minhyuk, the final echo reverberating through the empty hallway as they walked in silence. Minhyuk's mind was racing. Shin Jin-ah's words rang in his ears—her cool, calculated threats lingering like a cold fog in the back of his mind. The lights from the corridor overhead flickered slightly, casting long shadows as they made their way out of the Atlas Entertainment building.

Bang, on the other hand, remained stone-faced, his expression betraying none of the emotions that simmered beneath the surface. His hands, however, were clenched tightly at his sides, knuckles white with the strain of holding back the frustration that boiled inside him.

"They're going to come after us now," Minhyuk finally said, breaking the silence, his voice low and grim. "Jin-ah isn't going to let this go. And Sooyoung—" He paused, the betrayal stinging like a fresh wound. "I never thought she'd turn on us like that."

Bang sighed deeply, his shoulders slumping slightly as they stepped into the cool night air. The neon skyline of Seoul stretched out before them, vibrant and alive, a stark contrast to the battle that raged behind closed doors.

"They don't understand," Bang muttered, his voice barely audible as they crossed the parking lot. "Divinity isn't just a product. They're not just a group to be pushed around by corporate hands." He stopped suddenly, turning to face Minhyuk, his eyes burning with a rare intensity. "They're family."

Minhyuk nodded silently, the weight of the situation pressing down on him. He knew the odds were stacked against them. Divinity's success had thrust them into the spotlight, and now everyone wanted a piece of them. But they had fought too hard, struggled too much, to let it all be taken away.

As they reached their car, Bang paused again, staring off into the distance. "We need to be ready," he said quietly, his voice resolute. "Jin-ah is right about one thing: the world will come for us, and we need to be prepared. But we're not backing down."

Minhyuk opened the door and slid into the driver's seat. "What's the plan?"

Bang closed his eyes for a brief moment, gathering his thoughts. "We're going to fight back," he said softly, but with a quiet determination that left no room for doubt. "But we'll do it our way. On our terms."

Days later...

Minho lay sprawled out on the couch, phone in hand, scrolling through the endless stream of fan messages and media coverage from the past few days. The success of Idol had surpassed even their wildest expectations. But for the first time in what felt like years, they were all able to relax, at least for a moment.

Sei, who was curled up in an armchair across the room, was deeply engrossed in a conversation with Yujin, whilst his members quietly went about their routines. Jaehyun sat at the kitchen table, his laptop open in front of him, analyzing performance stats, while Wei was, predictably, on a call with their manager.
