Ruby reminded me so much of Anne . If only she could be here with me.(it might seem crazy what I'm bout to say) . When lunch ended we went over to English and for once we were actually on time. "Hey miss Stacy" I said walking to a random desk having ruby sit next to me.

I didn't pay much attention in class I was already really smart but I still took notes just in case. Then I got a note from ruby.I opened it up and it said

Hey gilbert. since your place is empty for a week do you wanna do like a sleepover or something

No ruby. I know it would be fun for you but I'm not doing that.

Then class was over. Next we had a free period so me and ruby went off to the library and everyone else went off to who knows where.

I was standing up. The library was empty so I was just choosing a book to read when suddenly I felt arms wrap around my waist.

As soon as I saw Gilbert I wrapped my arms around him "Carey I already told you I don't like you" he said. I was confused about who Carey was but then I put my chin on his shoulder which I had to go on my toes for because of our height difference.
