A/N this is my first story ever so please don't hate. it might be cringe but deal with it.
Ruby's pov
I roamed around the halls looking for my friend Gilbert Blythe (she might be a bit bitchy) when I finally walked over to him there was one of those sluts that would always hit on him.
It annoyed me.Not because I like him or anything but because they thought they had a chance. "Hey slut" I shouted walking over to her and Gilbert.She sneered at me but I didn't care.
Giberts pov
I was so glad that Ruby came along I couldn't deal with Carey anymore "GET AWAY FROM GILBERT" ruby said yelling then very slowly she started saying "he. is. not. interested in. you " like she was talking to a toddler. Gods I loved ruby (as a friend don't get any ideas) she is amazing.
After Carey left, me and ruby went to homeroom. As we walked through the door our teacher Ms.chase said "late again Blythe,gillis" "sorry ma'am won't happen again"ruby said.
Ruby had some kind of way with people, she was like a human magnet.Everyone loved her for how sweet she was and how generous she is. She always has reminded me of anne.

When class ended I went home to the apartment complex I live in and got a message from bash
Bash: hello Gilbert just letting you know that I won't be home for a week so you may have the house to yourself . unless you don't think your responsible enough but I'm sure you are
Gilbert:thanks bash and I'm sure I'm responsible enough.gee thanks
I set my phone down. I did everything I would do in a normal night and drifted off to sleep.
Sorry this was a very short chapter but I promise the next ones with be longer.
