Song of the night: Blow My Brains Out by: Tikkle Me
"Sometimes I wish I could lend you my ears. Lend you my thoughts, lend you my tears..."
TW: Swearing, hallucinations..?

My phone vibrates one the corner of my nightstand. I don't bother picking it up as it buzzes. I look at my ceiling, not wanting to get up. I rolled over onto the floor, wrapped up in my blankets. I sighed as I closed my eyes again. I then hear my phone ringing. I sat up to answer it, and it was from Koko again. I answer.
"Hello?" I answer, getting up from the floor to actually get ready.
"Hey, are you up?" She asks as I hear her shoes on the pavement. I get out of bed, and I rub my eyes.
"Oh yeah, I just got up. Why?" I ask as I put the phone down, I stretch my back, hearing it pop.
"Jesus- anyways, I wanted to go to 7/11 before we meet up with everyone else," she says and chuckles a little, hearing my back crack.
"Alright, where are you?-" I ask before I hear a knock at my door. "Never mind." She snickers on the other end and hangs up. I hear her footsteps walk in, and she throws her stuff at me.
"Oh- How the fuck did you get in without a key?-"
"Don't worry about it."
"What the f-"
"Okay. Do you have money so we can go?" She asks as she lays down on my sheet less mattress, my blanket wound up on the floor, and on of my pillows, also. She raises an eyebrow.
"I take it that you didn't sleep well." She states, I chuckle a little as I grab a shirt and some jeans.
"I do have money, yes." I say as I grab a pair of socks, also. I then feel someone grip my shoulder, I look behind me to see my brother.
"Jesus-" I murmur as I backed up away from him. He smiles at me.
"Is this little miss Koko, you've been telling me about?" He asks as he glares at me.
"Yeah." I mumbled, "That's her. You can go now, go get a job, get a girlfriend, whatever. Just go," I say as I point to the door. He raises his hands up in defense.
"Ouch. Why the long face?" He says and points to his mouth, mocking me. My jaw tightens as I glare at him. He glares back at me, his dark brown eyes staring into mine, my soul. I look away as I let out a breath.
"I gotta get ready for school." I say firmly, shoving past him to go to the bathroom. He let's out an annoyed breath and leaves, leaving Koko sitting in my room awkwardly, tapping her leg.I come back into the room into my clothes, I bend over to get socks out of my sock drawers.
"Gyatt." Koko says, I stand up straight and turn around. She starts laughing as I do, too. I slip my shoes on as I grab my phone off of the corner of my bed and slip them into my pants. I sit up to grab my bag from under my bed. When I look, I see a pair of eyes staring back at me. I jumped, and I backed up, away from the bed.
"What? What!?" Koko yells as she then gets off the bed, getting scared. I then grabbed a stick that was in the corner of my room, and I would poke it around under my bed. No, not poke, nearly stab if I could. I then turn on my phone flashlight and shine it under the bed. I look to see nothing. I let out a shaky breath.
"Nothing. Sorry." I whispered as I turned off the flash and grabbed my bag from under the bed. I then swipe my sweater and keys off of my desk.
"C'mon, Koko. Let's go," I say, dismissing what I saw.
"What the fuck was that..?!"
"What was what?"
"I swear to God if you gaslight me I'm gonna choke the living shit out of you."------☆★☆------
The both of us walk down the pavement, talking about whatever happened. I let Koko talk as I listen. I then I hear ringing in both ears, like they're buzzing. I looked around, spinning around in circles as I looked. My eyes then land on a shadow figure. It's that thing. The one on the night of Chris's party. The ringing got louder and louder, I felt like my head was going to explode.
"Joi!" My head snaps back up at Koko she was standing right in front of me, her hands gripping my arms. I let out another breath I didn't know I was holding.
"You keep doing that," she says and let's go of me.
"Doing what..?"
"The thing where you freeze up and stop breathing. Are you okay?" She asks genuinely.
"I'm sure I'm fine... Let's go before we can't go to 7/11," I denied as I continue walking. I hear Koko sigh behind me but I don't do anything. We walk into the 7/11, and I immediately go back near the drinks. I open the fridge door and grab an Arizona tea, the mango flavor, and I close it. I also snag a Hello Panda's off the shelf. I see Koko come back with a bag of chips and a banana and strawberry juice. We go over to pay, and the buzzing happens again. I looked around. This time, it was nothing. I give the cashier my card, paying for both of our items. The buzzing stops when he tells us to enjoy.
"You too." I say as I grab the things off the counter and go out the door. You too? What the fuck. What is he enjoying? Koko comes running behind me.
"You took my stuff," she says and hands me my stuff.
"Oh." She sighs and runs a hand through her blonde and faded rainbow streaks of hair.
"You don't seem fine. You're acting off." She explains, sounding somewhat teasing and worried.
"I know, I know." I say as I open the Hello Panda's and pop on into my mouth. I offer her one. She takes a couple in her hand, putting them all into her mouth. We met up with everyone else, everyone ahead of me as they spoke and laughed about whatever as I stayed behind. I sometimes felt so out of place with them, sometimes. They were all from the same universe and tall about what going on for them, while I stayed back and tried to make some conversation. It's okay, though. They're still my friends, and I'm their friends, surely. The buzzing and ringing come back. I freeze, glancing around again, for the third time today. I see people walking by, staring at me intensely, I start walking again, wanting to catch up with everyone else. When I look back up, I see them staring at me as I walk.
"What's wrong?" I ask softly. I gently touched my face to see if I had anything. Why are they staring at me...? I didn't do anything, right? Not to hurt them on purpose. I don't wanna hurt them. What the fuck was going on?! I get out of my sort of trance by someone nudging my shoulder. I looked up to see Jay, and he gave me an unknowing look. I shrug a little in response, and he nods a little and looks off to the side. At least they weren't looking at me weird... Or I don't think. I let out a deep breath, letting everything go. But it all still lingers in my chest, doesn't it? And it doesn't leave until you breathe again.---------------
