After Hours

Chapter 6: The only thing they fear is.. you?

-Y/N's POV-

I open the door to the cafeteria

...but before I step inside... I see a reddish lizard like creature standing far away in front of me, looking at me dead in the eyes.

...

The time feels like it stopped for a moment, and my heart feels like it starts to beat faster, in a way to tell me to run, but I don't, I keep watching the creature, and the creature watches me back.

...

...

Nothing happens for a few seconds. Until it emitted a feral scream and sprinted towards me at full speed.

I try to run... but I can't, my body feels like it's frozen.

The creature gets closer rapidly, I feel my heart beating faster like never before.

It gets closer, even closer.

I try to move, I try to scream, but nothing happens.

The creature lunges at me and pins me to the floor, it takes out its red sharp claws and starts tearing my chest apart, it rips my insides out, guts and gibs flying in the air. The walls gets covered in a crimson red color, I feel the pain through all of that.

I can finally move, but it is way too late, the creature keeps clawing me to death, how am I not dead yet??

I open my mouth to try to scream but no sound comes out, I feel like I can't breath anymore, I try to push the thing away but it doesn't budge, I can't feel anything below my mutilated torso.

I punch the creature's face, it stops its tearing. It looks at me, with its red eyes and dilated white pupils. It raises its arm, covered in my own blood mixed with its red fur. Its red claws glisten like crystals, the creature gouge my left eye out, I scream in pain but still no sound coming out, though I felt like hearing it in my head. It takes my removed eye and crush it with its hand, it stands up, grabs me by the head by both hands. I feel its pressing against it, it tries to crush my skull, I can feel it happening, my vision darkens.

CRA- SPLASH

...

I wake up.

... It was just a horrible nightmare.

I'm hyperventilating, I feel my chest... no injuries. I touch my face... still intact, and my left eye is fine too.

Y/N: (W-What the fuck... I... I never got any nightmares that realistic before...)

I slowly calmed down, was that what would have happened if I didn't run away when I met that red lizard? ... I realized one mistake is all it takes to meet my demise. I have to be extra cautious.

Y/N: (Jesus... How am I going to survive ONE damn month on my own??...)

I look at the clock, the current time is 12:27 PM.

I took a nap before, after organizing the food I collected.

...

I realized I forgot my baseball bat at the cafeteria.

Y/N: (God fucking damn it!)

I sigh

Y/N: (Ok maybe Abble can give me another bat? I sure do hope she will be here this time.)

I get up from my bed and head toward my door, I listen to it for any noises in case there's any gootraxians out there. I know Haz said hostiles aren't allowed in higher sections but I still feel insecure.
