To Hawks suprise the first hours of the day went smoothly, no one was causing trouble or anything. So he sat down not too far away from the people swimming.

The sun is making me tired and sleepy, at least it's only 2 hours left until we close. He took this moment to relax and listen to the sounds of children screaming, water splashing and someone sneaking up on him from behind.

Ugh, Really?

The new lifeguard wasn't stupid, nor did he ever let his guard down. His wings always pick up on everything even if he doesn't. He promptly got up and snapped around, suspiciously eyeing Dabi wo had two ice cream cups in his hands.

"What do you need?" Hawks started off and watched the other fumble over his words. He had been caught before he could pull a stupid prank on the lifeguard. "I just wanted to give you a welcome present, you know, my dad actually forced me to."

So he wasn't actually planning on anything? Good, that makes things easier. Maybe I shouldn't judge him from the beginning.

Dabi stepped closer as soon as he realized the other believed him and prepared his acting skills. He held back a devilish grin and when he was close enough, he pretended to trip and fall. Successfully smashing cold lemon ice cream into Hawks face. I did it! Dabi thought and an amused grunt slipped his mouth. "Oops, I'm so sorry mr. Lifeguard."

I should've known, really... Hawks bit his tongue to keep him from cursing and then an idea sparked his mind. Even if ignoring the cold sticky food on his face wasn't easy.

"it's okay really, I know it must be hard to not get any love from your daddy. That's why you act up to others." Hawks had to restrain a wicked laugh as he grabbed the ice cream in Dabis other hand and used his perplexed state to his advantage.

He didn't care who was looking and just slipped his free hand into Dabis shorts, admiring his muscles for a split second, and then pulling it open to drop the ice cream into it.

All hell broke loose as the bratty student yelled out in shock. Could this get me into trouble? Yes definitely.

The troublemaker swore at him and basically ran away to the showers. Hawks watched him while he did and also caught a glimpse of ice cream falling out of his boxers and landing on the ground. God, this is way to amusing. He wished he could have enjoyed this moment longer but a very angry Mirko was stomping into his direction.

Oh oh.

"Hawks, I thought you didn't want to get fired on your first day?" her eyes were practically glowing with anger as she pulled him aside and away from the few teenagers who witnessed all this. Wait, these guys must be his friends? The blonde realized, the two other guys noticed that their cover was blown and so they ran too.

Still he also remembered their faces. "What on earth did you do to him, he's gonna run to his daddy and get you fired!" the bunny like lifeguard crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow.

Okay, how do I make this sound less crazy... "So, he snuck up behind me to smash ice cream into my face. And as you can see, it worked!" he pointed at the whiteish sticky ice scream dripping down his face. This disgusting bastard, probably picked out lemon knowing it would look like this.

And when Mirko also realized it, all anger washed off her face." He-, hehe he got you good!" she couldn't keep it together and turned away to laugh. Yes very funny Mirko.

"His ice cream was brown though, so you can guess where I put that." now she broke out in uncontrollable laughter and hit Hawks on the shoulder. Ouch, she has a lot of strength for such a small woman. Together they walked over to the break room to help clean his face up and immediately went back to work.

It wasn't busy but their work still needed all concentration. Anything could happen.

Dabi wasn't seen for the rest of their opening hours and Hawks really hoped and prayed that the other wouldn't actually get him fired. Especially for the joke about his daddy not loving him. Yeah, maybe that one was uncalled for.

"Be prepared to get a call from our boss, probably already today. I must say you have balls though and I respect that." the short woman bowed her head and made him laugh.

He sighed and let his gaze wander around the people having fun in the waters. "Actually, I regret it. I like this job to be honest." His first day of work ended with a beautiful sunset and calm people leaving the public pool.

Leaving him wondering if he had overreacted.
