Can't Fight

Senju came out of the bathroom, her eyes were swollen and puffy, but she quietly took a seat beside Hinata and Takemichi.

Hinata looked at her, with a shared look of pain. "Senju-Chan, would you mind coming with me to get us something to drink? I know we're all thirsty and tired, so I was planning to get us all something to drink and walk to calm our nerves."

Senju agreed, and asked the boys what they would want to drink.

"Draken, Mikey, what do you want to drink? Hina-San and I are going to the convenience store, she can pay for it." Mikey looked up, worried.

He didn't want them to get hurt, but he knew Senju was strong. He knew she could handle herself if someone tried to mess with her. He knew she would protect Hinata.

"Be careful and safe. Just get me apple juice, please." He wasn't tired enough to want an energy drink or anything like that. He decided to go with something simple but flavorful, wanting to at least be happy from his drink.

Draken thought for a moment. "I want coffee, any one will do. I'll give you the money for it. I don't want Hinata to have to pay for it." He handed over enough to cover his drink and Mikey's, knowing he felt the same. "Pay for his with that, too." He added, to which Senju nodded.

"We'll be back soon. Text me if something happens or you need something else." As they left, the boys decided to talk.

Mikey looked at Takemichi, motioning him to come sit near him and Draken. "Why didn't you go with Hina-Chan?" He asked, wondering why he wasn't worried.

Takemichi smiled a bit, "Hina-Chan can be scary. She's actually pretty strong. So I think the girls will be able to handle themselves." He said, proud of his girlfriend.

After a moment of silence, the two boys looked over at Draken, who was sitting there blankly.

"Ken-Chin, will you take the risk if.. Emma... survives?" Mikey asked, not wanting to use the word 'if.' The surgery had lasted three hours so far.

Draken broke his stare, looking over at his best friend. "Only if you do." He joked, making Mikey smile a little.

Takemichi was left out, as he was already with the love of his life. But then he realized something, "Wait, Mikey-Kun, does that mean you like someone too?" He asked, watching as Mikey slowly nodded.

He smiled with a painful look in his eyes. "Yeah. I do." He looked up at Takemichi. "I've liked Kawaragi for around 7-8 years now. We met through our brothers, and Baji was friends with her too. Ya know, the first time she met Baji and Emma, she saw them at a park, and thought Baji was bullying her. She kicked him then apologized after she found out they were practicing karate." Mikey sighed and leaned back in his chair.

"She and Emma have forgotten about it by now, but I remember Baji talking about it back then, complaining about how one day he would beat Senju in a real fight." He reminisced about the old days, with both his friends listening intently, knowing Mikey doesn't share things often like this.

Mikey then thought about how when he first met Senju, he thought how pretty she was. He smiled nostalgically. "The first day I saw her, I immediately thought she was pretty. She was honestly the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen, and she still is. I've always liked the way her hair sits, the color of her eyes, how she was always confident in herself and did what she wanted." Draken waited eagerly for him to continue, knowing he would finally confess his and Senju's past.

Mikes expression changed, he looked ashamed now. "Shinichiro got me a toy airplane for my birthday when I was younger. I was showing it to my friends and playing around with it. They wanted to play with it too, but I was scared it would break. Then, I ended up finding it in the hallway broken, with Kawaragi standing by it. I.. got really angry. I asked her who broke it, and she said her brother..." Mikey had paused for a bit, knowing both his friends knew who the brother was.
